I've been using the 'red' box, now, for almost 2 years. Prior to that, I was using the 'blue' box. Blue box was fine, but my corals preferred higher elements, hence the switch to 'red'. I don't test my newly made batches, never have, and I don't think, I ever will. No problems, thus far. Yes, I've heard of many issues regarding inconsistencies but what doesn't have inconsistencies? When I get a new box of fritz, I pull the entire bag out of the box, roll it around on the floor ensuring everything is nice and mixed up. Not sure if that helps but it works for me. When I did a "lights out" for 4 days, the 2 nems, I had at that time, moved off their rock and moved towards the part of the tank that was getting more light from another nearby tank. So, make it dark and let in some light near a corner, it'll move. They love them some light! HTH Sent from Atlantis 🤙
