I'm no expert, but it looks like dinos to me. PITA for sure, if it is. When I had dinos, I've always noticed my nitrates to be extremely low. Then, I would add nitrates to the tank so algae would out-compete the dinos. I'd rather have algae than dinos. I've heard of people restarting their tanks bcuz of them. Lol My custom cube was built by him, never again! Of course, most people know acrylic, for the most part, will not bust at the seams unlike glass. Bubbles here and there? Haha, you mean "here, there and everywhere". Oh yeah, don't give him explicit directions on how you want your tank built, it'll never happen. Maybe you don't mind asthetics, but I do and I'm sure majority of the people do, as well, especially when you fork out a grand to have a tank built. I could go on and on.... I could name 2 local shops off the top of my head that had tanks built by Ruben, were they happy? Phuck NO! Don't get me wrong, he's a nice guy to deal with, and I'd have no problems slammin' down some beers with him, but not to build me a custom tank, again. Sorry. I know you had tanks made by him, and I even remember you selling his tanks, too, on the forum. That's fine, ain't nothing wrong with that, if you like his quality of work, but honestly, most people don't. No, it wasn't me, but now that you mentioned it, I was out on your deck, I believe I was speaking to Brando at the time, when I turned and noticed a little boy throwing the ring up in the air. He threw it up a few times, and I think, his third throw, the ring got caught on a branch. He turned and looked around to see if anyone saw, but I don't think anyone did, except me. Thanks, everyone, for all the options! I really appreciate it! I am purchasing a 20# bottle on Wednesday, from someone getting out of the brewing hobby. Someone mentioned, cylinders can be had for cheap, when they're getting out, and they're right, $40 for the bottle! I also made the drive to Homebrew Exchange on Interstate ave, to exchange my 5# bottle, for only $16! As opposed to $30+ at Airgas in Vancouver (ripoff). To exchange a 20 pounder at Homebrew, it's only $35, a 50 pounder is $55! Looking for another 20 pounder! So if you got one, hit me up, please! I've always used a 5lb cylinder for my calcium reactor but as of late, I've been thinking of getting a larger cylinder. What is the next step up and the most common, that is readily available for exchange? Is there a big difference in price, let's say, between a 5lb and a 20lb bottle? At the moment, I exchange my bottle approximately every 7 to 8 months. Now that my sps are steadily growing into colonies, demands will increase, hence the search for a larger bottle.
