  1. Thanks for all the feed back much appreciated!
  2. Howdy Folks, Been outa the loop with the forum and all sense I moved to the country no more meetings or local frag swaps n all. But I have reached the end on my bucket on Kent salt and have heard some good things about the RPM any one else make the switch pros and cons I have always used the Kent salt for the last 10 years this is the first time I have though about switching mostly for the ability to make salt water fast is all . Kinda goes against the nothing good comes fast in reefing policy I have always had but would be a quality of life upgrade. Thanks in Advance 🤠
  3. I like what you have done with the HOB overflow to allow for surface skimming did you by chance drill and holes lower in the outer tube in case the wier gets clogged to allow it to still pull water from the tank? Nice over all set up love me some DIY projects!
  4. I am going to be setting up a 75G some time in the next year and so have been looking at my options. Not really a fan of the MP10s because of the static mounting I like and have success with the jeabos over the years I have one that has been running for 2.5 years and I have one that died after 6 months. I will check out the Aquami KPS

  6. Howdy Folks It has been a while sense I posted any thing on the forum but I was browsing the interwebs in search of some flow on a budget and cam across this Current USA wave pump very similar to the Jeabo/Jecod stuff but seems to be a little more reliable and better thought out. Is any one running one of these or is there a thread already started on this topic let me know thanks =)
  7. Here is a link to the article I was reading. http://www.aquatic-plants.org/articles/basics/pages/04_co2.html
  8. You can use PH and alk reading to measure your CO2 I just recently read this however i forgot where it was. I have been do some research on planted tanks =)
  9. I had forgoten that I did an update when I transfered everything over. Kinda nice to see just how much everything has grown in the last 2 1/2 months =)
  10. Just wanted to give an update. I moved this from the 20l into a 29 same footprint just taller. I made my own overflow but never drilled it because I am not running a sump. I use the over flow compartment for my ato and heater. I have the intake for my sunsun canister filter in there as well so kind of a Hybrid AIO. I have been running my reef skimmer less with a canister filter sense last spring and for a nano tank with out SPS it has done great. I run the 9w UV sterilizer 24/7 not sure if it has any positive or negative effects but makes me feel better so there is that. My 2 fish are happy and healthy and really appreciate the extra swim room. It has been approximately 2 months sense I moved them to the new tank. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

It might look a little out of place with the color most substrates used in reef tanks are black or white not sure how well it would look in a brightly lit and colorful reef with the tanish brown color. Physically though I don't think it would pose a problem and is very cheap which is a plus. Might look good in a display fuge though.
  12. Tank Transfer complete. I will get a new build thread started down the road with all the nitty-gritty details of my setup. Changed from a custom 20l AIO to a custom 29 AIO set up wich gives my two little fishes a whole lot more swimming room. Which they needed. The corals all opened right up so must have done something right =) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
  13. Not out yet 6 heads and rollin! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
  14. No worries it is what it is thanks for the response =) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
