  1. Any recommendations for glass suction cup lifters out there? Is this the smart way to lift a big tank? I like having finger tips, and my new stand has a lip up all around for tank to sit down in.
  2. I don’t trust the thick inside rubber type material, but I haven’t tried it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. For water flow or to be underwater? I would not recommend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I agree with all these. Around 250 psi I make plans to go exchange in the next week or so Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Wow Daniel! You’re going to need a face mask and long snorkel for that one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Well mine is now but an encrusted 1/4" stub. I bumped it and snapped it off.
  7. Thanks John! And Bevo5 too. I'm looking for just a barrel I can mount a float valve in with a submersible pump inside to keep it simple
  8. I'm in Tigard as well, and have a fridge full of Pfreim IPA I'd be happy to share!
  9. I’m looking for water storage container 26” diameter or less at least 60g. I’m having trouble searching on mobile format for what you guys have done for your water mixing stations. Suggestions on where to get new or used is what I’m looking for. Thanks! Oh did I mention I’ve got a 150g tank coming next week? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Dang Brian, that is sickening to hear.
  11. My house is only 1100 sq ft, so I guess that's what I'm using as an excuse. Knocking out the wall would mean I'd have to remodel the kitchen, which is an overwhelming thought for me.
  12. I need to do some research into these labels we each have! I'm a zoanthid, Calvin is a Shark, Ken is a Trigger, Brian is a Problem Child, and Kim is a Master AzzKrak!
  13. You're killing me Ken! I so wish I had room for that.
  14. OK boys and girls, I'm jones'n to upgrade to a bigger tank. Same placement, for those of you who've been to my house. I've got room for maximum 65" length and maybe 30" depth. Since I'm up against a wall at the end, I'm really thinking about a peninsula. I'm really thinking about the Waterbox or Red Sea peninsula systems, but Crystal Dynamic has steel stand with eurobrace that is kind of appealing as well. HELP!!! If any of you had it to do again today, what would you do with my parameters?
  15. If I remember correctly, Micah’s wiring prowess was a full-blown step beyond what most of us think of because of what he does or did as a living. He is who turned me on to that plastic wire raceway stuff with snap on covers ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Well... I am seriously spending a lot of time looking. If I don’t get a new system, I’ll at least be tearing mine pretty far down to get rid of all my zoas that have overtaken areas and making room to keep a cleaner system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I’ll take it Chris! Pm sent Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Well I just learned something new today. Many years back, I confirmed with Tigard water officials that the water supply sourced from Portland used chloramines for treatment. I got my most recent Tigard water pamphlet thingy yesterday and it only mentioned chlorine. So I emailed, and got confirmation back that Tigard no longer sources from Portland and instead partnered with Lake Oswego and no longer uses chloramines. The difference means my RO carbon pre filters should last significantly longer since I'm set up for chloramine removal, and that uses up carbon significantly faster than chlorine.
  19. What do they taste like? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Sorry to see, but put me in the list to buy a frag when ready. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Beautiful fish! If I didn’t have one already I would buy it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I really dig the aquascape. Makes me want to tear mine down and do it over Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Wait, there’s a display tank that goes along with this?!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. That’s the beauty of getting old Brad. Even when we do one thing that could cause major damage, we happen to accidentally do another thing that caused it to be relatively ok. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
