  2. When can you make it out to Beaverton??? 🤣
  3. My purple/green/blue stag continues to grow like a weed. It's now within 1/4" of the water surface. It was only 1" tall in Oct 2018.
  4. Would a single outlet work if there’s only one 24v port available? For example, I have a FMM module in my garage for my mixing station, and it has one 24v port that’s open. (Edit: Never mind, I just re-read your post about a single port.)
  5. The "LINKA_x_x" outputs are the 2-pin 24V DC accessory ports. 1Link ports don't actually have any output name, and you wouldn't be able to tap into the 24V pins of the 1Link because there's no actual way to turn 1Link On or Off. Only after you plug an Apex module into a 1Link does the module dictate what outputs are presented. For example, if you plug in a WAV, there will be one new output presented to you. A DOS will produce two new outputs, one for each pump head. I just wanted to make that clarification. But your design is pretty cool, and I bet you could sell a ton of them on the Facebook Neptune group.
  6. Please clarify, are these outlets controlled by the 4-pin 1Link connector, or the 2-pin 24v accessory connector? Since 1Link carries both AquaBus communications and 24v power, plugging any non-Apex module into a 1Link could confuse the Apex communications bus. I'm hoping you simply meant the 2-pin connector.
  7. Since the topic of McDonald's was a big issue this morning during the tank move, I thought I'd let a particular person (@markvo) know about this new offer: https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/01/business/mcdonalds-egg-mcmuffin-day/index.html Enjoy!
  8. No problem. We have a great reefing community here. Congrats on your new tank...looking forward to seeing it come to life!
  9. Not exactly a little bird...More like a human-sized monkey. 🤣
  10. @Willapa I tried to send you a PM, but it says Unable to send. This is probably because your inbox is full. Please clear out some space, or send my your number so I can text you.
  11. The blue tape on the deck only shows about 1/3 of the new addition. It will extend an additional 19 feet beyond the current deck into the back yard. I was just getting an idea of the fish room size and display tank, which sits right where the current deck is. I'm definitely going to need an automated water change system for the hot tub for when I host future PNWMAS parties...😬
  12. I started mapping out the floorplan on the deck where the new room will be. It looks like I should have plenty of room to work with.
  13. Here are some better shots of that colony:
  14. Funny you mentioned that one Andy. I was planning to bring a frag from my colony, but my plans changed suddenly so I won’t be able to attend the meeting.
  15. I'm meeting with a few contractors next week to do walkthroughs at my house with my plans. This is going to be a pretty big budget operation, so I want to do it right. Slowly making progress...
  16. Ha! Just bustin' your balls. 🤣 It looks awesome.
  17. Look, he said "The Monster Cometh"...not "the mediocre is on its way"...🤣
  18. What about aesthetics? That piss-yellowish-silvery color of unistrut isn't exactly the most attractive. Just saying. 🤣 Are you at least going to peel off the barcode price sticker?
  19. The cord on the PMUP v1 and v2 is 6 feet long. When you add in the height of the PMUP, it's 6'4". Unless you plan to fill your storage tank to the brim, I don't think you'll need any extension. Some people have cut the PMUP cord, spliced in an additional length of cord, then used glue and heat shrink wrap to seal the splice. By the way, the PMUP uses a 2-pin Molex connector to the 24v accessory port, not the 4-pin 1Link cable.
  20. Here's how I set mine up: I no longer have the Radion lights, so the blue and white light buttons no longer apply since my ReeFi's are not controlled by the Apex.
  21. Sean, maybe next time you should wear a bib to soak up the water instead of setting off Holly's Apex leak sensors at the frag tank! I saw a big red warning on her Apex due to the leak sensor. Or maybe you can blame it on Jeff. 🤣
