  1. Sure! Tomorrow works. I'll send a PM to coordinate.
  2. My rose bubbletip anemone has split again, so I'm looking to sell the new twin for $25. It's about the size of a tennis ball. Located in Beaverton. Here's a quick video from before the split:
  3. OK, all 7 frags have been claimed: @Nick @CoralReefTankers @Amaez90 @CrazyInside @ocboat @albertareef @jtarmitage I’ll send this list to Jeff at @CuttleFishandCoral. You can claim your frag at his shop. When I first bought this Duncan, it had 3 heads. Now 21 months later it had about 40 heads. Hopefully your frags will be as successful and you can share the love at some point in the future! Enjoy your new Duncans.
  4. FYI: If any of you are considering the newly released Radion G5 lights, be sure to do some research and read the reviews. I've been seeing more and more bad reviews. This one is a good detailed example: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/going-from-radion-g4s-to-radion-g5-blue-initial-impression-and-two-week-update.705286/
  5. Two frags left...Who else wants in??? 🙂
  6. You'll have to ask @CuttleFishandCoral Jeff since he's holding them. For now I put your name down. Let me know if you decide to pass.
  7. My Duncan colony was growing out of control, so today I took it to @CuttleFishandCoral for them to frag for me. My colony is now about 1/2 the original size, and In the spirit of cheering people up during these difficult times, I am giving away the excess frags for free to the first 7 people who request one in reply to this thread! The frags are at CNC, and I'll send Jeff the final list of the 7 lucky recipients so you can pick them up there. Claimed so far: Nick CoralReefTankers Amaez90 CrazyInside ocboat albertareef jtarmitage Here's the mother colony:
  8. I had 500 reward points at SaltwaterAquarium.com that were about to expire, so I converted them to a $5 discount code for future use. Since there’s nothing I need at this time, I’ll give away this code to the first person who sends me a PM. It’s not much, but $5 is $5...
  9. Wow, I feel for you, and I'm sure this must be stressful. I shop primarily at a New Seasons in SW Beaverton. I think they've done a great job to control the shopping experience by implementing the following rules: They changed the doors to only allow entry at one and exit at the other. When you arrive at the entrance, they have orange circles painted on the sidewalk 6 feet apart outside leading into the store. People need to stand on these circles until instructed to enter. A store employee has an iPad to keep track of the number of people entering and exiting the store, so they can maintain the maximum number of shoppers inside at any time. They are requesting only single shoppers rather than groups if possible. This is not a hard requirement, but people seem to be respecting it. Once you're allowed to enter, all the shopping carts are inside and already pre-sanitized for you. Each of the normally congested areas (meat/seafood counters, checkout lanes) have those same orange circles on the floor to help people keep properly distanced. You're not allowed to put items onto the checkout conveyor until the person ahead of you has left. Each cashier has a plastic sneeze guard blocking them from the customers. As you leave, the iPad count is updated so another customer is permitted to enter.
  10. I have a Reefer XL 425 which has the same plumbing as the Reefer 350. Mine does not have any salt creep on the overflow plumbing, even after 2 years of use. I'm guessing yours just isn't tightened enough, but I've heard of many people over tightening and cracking the fittings, so you have to be very careful.
  11. Enjoy your beer! I know I couldn't have lasted that long without a drink under these circumstances! 🍻
  12. Works for me, too. Have you tried rebooting your phone? What if you turn off WiFi and access it over the cellular network? If that works, then reboot your Internet router.
  13. A funny thing happened today. I was in the shower when I heard the doorbell ring. When I later checked the front porch, there was a delivery of BBQ ribs sitting there in a bag. Completely confusing because I didn't order anything. A few minutes later my wife texted me from work to ask if any BBQ was delivered. It turns out that our house sitter/aquarium sitter/dog sitter placed an order, but the last time she used that app was when she was at our house, so it remembered our address instead of hers. I thanked her for the free lunch. 🍖🤣
  14. Congrats on the new job. I'm sure job hunting would be very difficult right now.
  15. With most of us stuck at home, how is everyone doing? I'm still getting used to grocery shopping only once per week compared to the past when I usually decided what to make for dinner the same day and did nearly daily grocery runs. I've found planning meals for a whole week has really reduced the amount of wasted food. My wife is still going in to her office 3 days per week which I think is good because she's not used to being home every day like I have been in retirement for a coupe years. Last night my wife & I participated with a big group of fiends using the "House Party" video conferencing app to have some fun. It includes a bunch of games that provided a couple hours of good entertainment. My tank is probably cleaner than it's ever been. I'm also being more active on Reef2Reef, Neptune Community Forums, and Facebook reefing groups helping answer questions and solving Apex problems. I hope all of you are coping with this dramatic change of lifestyle. What have you been doing???
  16. I've had good results from berghia nudibranchs, but they are expensive, and take about 2 months to finish the job.
  17. It's only a temporary order, so I just need to ration my driving until April 11th, then they can refill for me while I stay socially distanced inside my Land Rover. 🤣
  18. One of these days after the COVID lockdown is lifted, I’m going to come over and show you how to use that Nikon macro lens I sold to you! 😊
  19. It's ironic that back in December I couldn't find any 6-month reagent packs available, so I put myself on a couple waiting lists. Then both came through at the same time and my orders were processed automatically so I ended up with two 6-month packs. I've been testing at 8/4/4 for almost a year and will continue doing that since I have enough to last through August or September. If supplies continue to be sparse I might start rationing at 4/2/2 testing.
  20. Sean, you should add those to your cart and then apply the 15% discount code! 🤣
  21. @NateDawg Do you still have that big shell collection? Lefty continues to grow and is now in need of a shell around 1.25" - 1.5". PM me if you have anything that might work.
  22. Evaporation is driven by three things: the temperature difference between the water and the surrounding air, air movement over the water, and the relative humidity of the air moving over the water. Since the temperatures and humidity can change hour to hour and day and day to day, you're unlikely to be able to dynamically adjust the salinity of the replacement water to avoid having a traditional ATO in combination with a reservoir of saltwater that's at the correct salinity.
