  2. i have been thinking.. and drinking.. but i have an idea. To save time, maybe we should just get together and buy cuttlefish? The whole thing. 8. if you want the pro pro tip, buy a littlr jag of plumber putty. its like $5 and is essentially like waterproof play dough. now, grab a big gob and roll it into a snake. Male a couple hissing sounds, annoy your wife with it, ot smash its head with a meteor and roll ir out again. Now, smoosh the snake around the spot to drill and fashion a little dam. 1/4" or 1/2" is fine. Fill it with water.... and drill. Now the bit stays cool and you dont have water anywhere EVEN pressure..no angling! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  9. Any of those dead corals will work terrific to establish GHA on. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  10. I have a reef octopus SRO 2000. Its rated to 180g for medium load. I really like reef octopus skimmers, i just had to buy a ridiculous large one for my new tank so this one is just sitting. $200. https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/super-reef-octopus-sro-2000int-6-in-sump-protein-skimmer.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw1-fVBRC3ARIsAIifYOO4-AgbN5iq_1O-T9W2H4tQzXCWz76iBuqyGkB9zdmUHAOS51eAJLgaAiHbEALw_wcB Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  15. well, I think i heard Holly say that she sent fingerprints to the lab so now all the remains to do is find the perp, humiliate on face book, and then i will give a fingernail fragging demonstration. But for karmas sake i will get some more zoas for you. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  16. Simple is ones without teeth. I don't have a CNC machine. But yeah, I have been known to crank some stuff out but in all honesty, its going to be a "I will build it while you watch me" kind of thing from here on out. I built a sump for a member.. had him verify measurements twice.... and then I get " Hey, its not the right size" (and no payment to date).
  17. Totally unrelated but since we are on the subject.. you know what would be super cool.. a club owned coral QT system. I have the pieces for one but have not set it up yet.. still wondering how i should go about maintaining cal and alk. But i have thought many times.. i would gladly pay $20-$30 a month to have a place to QT corals. For people that purchase any amount of corals or have a large tank it would be more than worth it. just a thought. There is day care for cats, might as well have coral day care Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  18. I think he is part retriever. He must follow my wrecking ball of a turbo snail around and pick stuff up. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  19. toothless for the win. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  20. the word on the street is the 200 seem more coarse than there felt conterparts. The flip side, the 100s seem finer than the felt ones. Mine start clogging every 2-3 days but I have a LOT of flow through my sump.. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  21. what a dork.... Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  22. I brought spectra some frags of both of these zoas in the picture. The were in ziplock bag with "Spectra" and my salinity, dkh, and Ph written on the bag. I dont want to believe someone would just take them, but unless someone rebagged them, i dont know how you could accidentally take a zip lock bag. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  23. The mesh socks are the bomb!! It literally takes me 2-3 minutes to clean four of them. I did a bulk purchase of the 4" 100 micron ones a while back. They clog faster for sure but they also catch almost everything. I sold a bunch to R3, he may have some left. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  24. how do you grab a sandwich bag with someone elses name on it by mistake? Let me know if it doesnt show up.. i can frag some more for you.. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  25. step one.. avoid tap like the plague except for solvent. Tap plastics charges roughly 4x the going rate on stuff. Its highway robbery..but they have a cute retail store. Call professional plastics in tualatin. 3/8 black cast acrylic is what you are looking for. How much.. well that depends on what we are making. They are typically about 5" tall and 2" deep (dont know what your plumbing looks like).. I will be at the meeting tomorrow if you are going. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
