  1. Anyone happen to know the name (if any) of the acro at the 7:00 mark? Tagging some of our resident acro-loving gurus: @CuttleFishandCoral @reefnjunkie @goldenbasketreef @Jorge @mattv @Danik @pdxmonkeyboy @stylaster @The ReefBox @Bicyclebill @zorroreef
  2. Yay! Thank you, John, @SuncrestReef for all your hard work coordinating, and Jeff @CuttleFishandCoral for hooking us up with some great prizes!
  3. For my 24 tickets--Let's do 10 on the Koralia, 10 on the Nero 5, and 4 on the MP40. Thank you! 🙏🤞🥳🐠
  4. Yeah--I was thinking that was a possibility too, but I still wanted to respond in case it isn't "spam."
  5. It looks like this is the second thread you have posted with the same title. I hope you saw that some members responded in the other thread with suggestions to keep the eel alive--including getting the eel to a local saltwater fish store as soon as possible. Most (but not all) of the members of this forum are significantly south of you (Portland/Vancouver area) and although it is possible someone out there is north of Seattle, I think it is highly unlikely you are going to reach someone with a freshwater eel that is looking for a saltwater eel. I think it is great you reached out, I just don't want you to delay in getting the eel safe because you think it is likely someone will be able to trade you. If it were me, I'd be calling saltwater fish stores this morning, seeing if I could bring it in and maybe get a credit or trade for a small pump or something. Good luck!
  6. I just Googled that...looks pretty cool! If you try it, I'd love to hear how it worked out.
  7. I'll put my two on the generator. Thanks for organizing!
  8. Hey...never noticed the post count to the right (at least on my PC). This is showing as #84.
  9. Great idea, Manny! Here is one of my favorite shots, for something fun to look at while we scroll.

Robyn and Chris, who both used to be active members here, have a pond building business (Poseidon's Aquatic Design), so they may able to help out. They are good peeps. I'll tag Robyn and see if I can get her to chime in. @Robyna_baby
  11. Maybe this is the same thing? It's only $16 and comes with 10 different tips. Amazon had it to my house in two days. 12. Wow that was fast. Looks like they are all spoken for. Closing thread.
  13. I have three or four large birdsnest colonies (5+ inches) that are just taking up real estate. The picture is of several of them piled on top of each other. Might be fun to frag them, or if you're checking your hand at growing SPS, this would be a great "tester" coral. Or just put it in your tank and watch it grow! PM me if interested.
  14. That is some sort of birdsnest...hard to tell from the picture, but it could have been one of the ORA Bird of Paradise. It looks great, Jeremy!
  15. Thank you, Kim! I'm the lucky one for being part of such an amazing community! Hugs!
  16. Oh my gosh! Congratulations you guys! She's beautiful. 😍
  17. Hi, Dakota! I have some large colonies of birdsnests and pocillopora you can have. PM me.
  18. Oh my gosh, John. I am so sorry. Yes, this hobby can break your heart at times. I think we all have stories of tank-related melt-downs, for one reason or another. They are humbling and frustrating, not to mention expensive. I agree with all of the comments above (except @EMeyer because I have no idea what he is talking about 😉). But, I'd like to offer one more piece of advice--enjoy your mushrooms and zoas! I'm sure some people are rolling their eyes at that advice, and I realize it is sort of PollyAnna-ish, but I'm serious. If your tank is not feeling acros, then don't grow acros. If softies are booming, grow softies. When that gets old, reboot. Just don't leave us...we need you! Thanks for sharing. You are not alone. Holly
  19. Maybe... But I will always cut a fresh frag for you, Chris. 🐠
  20. Is it just a weird coincidence that several of us have poison dart frogs??? I know Austin at Cuttle Fish keeps them, too. Oh, and so it doesn't look like I've completely highjacked Chris's thread, the acrylic lid on my vivarium warps, too--though it provides just enough ventilation to keep the air from being stagnant in there. Here is a picture of my little guys:
