  1. The tangs would be too big, but a damsel might work.
  2. Mostly BTAs and maxi-minis. A couple of odds-n-ends. Love the 'nems.
  3. This is for my smaller, 15 gallon frag tank. It is shallow--maybe 7" deep. I have a lawnmower in my big frag tank but he's huge, maybe 4". I love his little grumpy-face. But I need something smaller. I tried a couple of black mollies but they are so lazy that the algae grows on them. Is there a smaller blenny you'd suggest?
  4. What are you using to keep your frag tank algae/pest-free? I want a fish that can get the algae between the egg crate grates, won't jump (good luck with that...), is relatively small, and won't hurt my corals (duh). Thoughts?
  5. Awww, shucks! Thanks, Louis. It was great to meet you yesterday. That was a very generous donation you made to the Thumper auction. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday.
  6. As it turns out, badxgillen only has nine toes, so he's a few clippings shy. But he's throwing in some mushrooms so we've struck a deal. Thanks for the interest, everyone!
  7. Badxgillen--I'll PM you for the horse trading and see if we can come up with a win-win. I'll report back to everyone so you'll know whether we've struck a deal.
  8. "Gorilla nipples"??? I want some of those just so I can say, "I have gorilla nipples." Would be fun at parties...
  9. SW Portland near Washington Square. I work in Salem. I'm planning on being at the Meet and Greet on the 15th.
  10. I'm sorry, I know these are legit corals but I just can't seem to warm up to them. Let me just say it: They're ugly. Ugly, ugly, ugly. Ugly. I know I'm not doing a real good job selling these things, but I'm sure there are some of you out there that see the potential. I just want them to have a happy home. And not at my house. I'm happy to trade for maybe some mushrooms (love those discosomas) or maxi-mini anemone (or any anemone for that matter). Heck, I'll even trade for your toe nail clippings. The first is a forest fire montipora digitata and the second is a blue ridge coral, which looks like an SPS but is really more of an LPS. Here's the forest fire (it looks like it is giving me the Evil Eye): And here is the blue ridge. Look! He's holding his arms out for you to pick him up! He just wants to be loved.
  11. matty, I just posted the RO/DI on the auction website (I think). Let me know if you have any problems finding it.
  12. matty, I have a BRS RO/DI that I don't need. I thought I'd donate it to the auction, if I can figure out how (I'm new here). I'll spend some time today taking pics and getting it up there. You might be able to get a really good deal!
  13. I keep telling the guys at the Hydroponics store I'm growing ANEMONES but they just don't believe me.
  14. Once upon a time, a girl dreamed of having her own saltwater tank. Then one day, a prince (okay, not a prince, just Jeff) set her up a 110 gallon. She filled the tank with fish, and coral, and love. But like any girl, she wanted more. She longed for an anemone tank. So she sold off her grandmother's jewelry and bought a 36 gallon bow front. As her addiction grew, she knew that there was only one thing that could quiet the beast...a FRAG tank (or two). This made her happy. But soon she started hearing her family and her friends used words like, "crazy" and "obsessed." And she began to worry. Until...she found this awesome forum with other "crazy" and "obsessed" addicts and she felt like she had finally come home.
