  1. I've had good results from berghia nudibranchs, but they are expensive, and take about 2 months to finish the job.
  2. It's only a temporary order, so I just need to ration my driving until April 11th, then they can refill for me while I stay socially distanced inside my Land Rover. 🤣
  3. One of these days after the COVID lockdown is lifted, I’m going to come over and show you how to use that Nikon macro lens I sold to you! 😊
  4. It's ironic that back in December I couldn't find any 6-month reagent packs available, so I put myself on a couple waiting lists. Then both came through at the same time and my orders were processed automatically so I ended up with two 6-month packs. I've been testing at 8/4/4 for almost a year and will continue doing that since I have enough to last through August or September. If supplies continue to be sparse I might start rationing at 4/2/2 testing.
  5. Sean, you should add those to your cart and then apply the 15% discount code! 🤣
  6. @NateDawg Do you still have that big shell collection? Lefty continues to grow and is now in need of a shell around 1.25" - 1.5". PM me if you have anything that might work.
  7. Evaporation is driven by three things: the temperature difference between the water and the surrounding air, air movement over the water, and the relative humidity of the air moving over the water. Since the temperatures and humidity can change hour to hour and day and day to day, you're unlikely to be able to dynamically adjust the salinity of the replacement water to avoid having a traditional ATO in combination with a reservoir of saltwater that's at the correct salinity.
  8. So glad to hear it helped! Over at Reef2Reef the tutorial series has now had over 26,000 views. It's a great feeling to know the effort of writing these topics has helped so many people, including reefers right here on PNWMAS. Thanks for the kind words.
  9. Have you considered a basic lamp shade?
  10. You could list the toilet paper for $400 and throw in the ATI lights for free....
  11. Also let me know if you need any Apex help or advice. I'm the guy who wrote the 8-part Apex tutorial series: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/neptune-apex-programming-tutorials.700483/
  12. It's a camlock fitting. I wrote up a detailed parts list for my whole mixing station on my R2R build thread: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/suncrestreefs-red-sea-reefer-xl-425-build.358990/post-6173194
  13. Do yourself a huge favor by adding spigot valves at the bottom of each container. It's so handy to be able to quickly dispense a small amount of either RO/DI to rinse something or saltwater to dip corals without needing to turn on a pump. I use mine all the time:
  14. Yes, I saw that after I made the comment, then deleted my comment and approved the post. Sorry for the confusion, it just wasn't obvious at first glance. The frag photos distracted me!
  15. Welcome! You’ll find a lot of great info here and reefers of every skill level. Don’t hesitate to ask for advice. And we love photos, so feel free to post some of your tanks. I believe new users only require moderator approval for the first 10 posts. This just helps us avoid spammers from ruining the forum.
  16. Aiptasia looks like aiptasia in any light. 🤦‍♂️
  17. I’m just the IT Guy. 🤓🤣
  18. Yes, I know. It's only growing on my return nozzles and powerheads, all of which I'm planning to clean this weekend.
  19. Unfortunately mine is not a DIY project. It involves excavation, foundations, framing, roofing, plumbing, new electrical panel, HVAC, etc.
  20. Well, my project was going to cost enough to build a small house, so I'm choosing to reserve that money for a while.
  21. It finally made it to the surface!
  22. With the huge losses in the stock market and economic unknowns for the foreseeable future, I am putting my room addition and new tank plans on hold. It would be irresponsible to spend that kind of money on something completely recreational when it may be needed for basic living or future medical needs. This sucks, but at least my wife & I have our health and my current tank is still thriving. Hopefully all of you stuck at home are getting more quality time viewing your tanks. Be safe everyone.
  23. Can’t believe I missed it by one day! Congrats @Oregonic.
  24. @Paratore Just curious, how old was the outlet?
