wasn't too bad getting it out. I was about to give up after 2-3 minutes cause it was hiding behind the rocks but all of a sudden it went into a corner and it was easy to net it at that point. Back to the store it went 😃 bye bye Dory!

Came home to frags ripped off despite being glued on. So I guess I’m going to have to figure out a way to get this fish out of there

Is there any research showing a correlation because the bacterial population in the water column vs bacterial population on surface of the rock and sand?

Doesn’t look like he’s eating corals. He just relocates them but somehow manages to drop them in the big acan. Maybe if I glue the frags down he won’t try to move them lol

Just now it picked up a frag from the bottom and put in on the frag rack [language filter]!

This yellow belly hippo has been in the display for two days and started ravaging my corals frags. Came home from work with all my sps frags all over the tank. I watched the tank for a while and then witnessed that tang picking up a frag with its mouth and dropping into the acan on the other side of the tank. How crazy is that. I have a bunch of dead frags now.

Everyone needs the WB230.6 in their lives. Hell I’m ready to upgrade from the WB190.5 lol

I told myself no coral in this tank for at least 6 months...that didn’t last long. Couldn’t help myself especially since the red sea 170 is full of nice corals to chose from

I used e-marco cement and some epoxy as well. It’s super strong so I don’t really worry about anything collapsing

My $20 refugium light is amazing. Better than my $150 kessil h80 on my red sea. About 10 days ago I put a baseball size piece of chaeto in sump. Here is what it looks like today

Waterbox customer service has been stellar in my experience

I currently have both. Reefer 170 and waterbox 190.5 i like the waterbox better. Plumbing is great compared to red sea. Cabinet quality is better on the red sea. All glass overflow on the waterbow is awesome. You can’t go wrong either way imo
