My tanks is a couple months old and these clown are already on their second batch of eggs. These poor little homeless clownfish are still “hosting” the corner of the overflow lol

Bought these on ebay (comes from russia). They are 3d printed and the magnet is very strong. Works great on my 3/4 glass i have both the cube feeder and the algae grazer

So what’s your dream fish? Mine would be a koi tang...anyone has one in town?

my theory is that most people eliminate the aluminum faster than it accumulates with water changes. However, those like me who do very little water changes, it then accumulates over time

I used tropic marin pro as my salt for this build. This stuff is lab grade. Doubt it would have aluminum but i did not test it

With my first tank, i used ati test. The rodi had 0 Aluminum but the tank water had super high aluminum. This time I used icp analysis which doesnt test for rodi. My 6 stage rodi system has a tds of 0 i used two large blocks and two boxes of spheres for this build. I even had them cycling/curing in a tote for three months before putting them in my system because i knew about the aluminum

My tank is two month old and I sent an icp test to get a baseline. Aluminum is high (because I used marinepure media again). I guess they haven’t fixed the issue. My first tank also had high aluminum and that’s why I tossed out all the marinepure balls from that system.

I’m waiting for the next version that will test nitrate and phos as well

I just added some fish (three yellow tangs and a copperband butterfly). I thought the yellows would do their own version of the movie gladiator, instead the kole tang is chasing everyone and nipping at fins. He just went beserk!
