Plumbing my 40 mm metric primary overflow to the 1" intake of the clarisea is proving difficult. Are there any good source for PVC fittings, unions, barbed, reducer, couplings etc locally?

I agree. The glass shards were on both sides on the refugium plate. No way they can jump over it during shipping

Might go with a skimmate locker depending on how much room i have left in the cabinet after im done mounting all the essentials. I usually skim very dry. On my 34g i only empty/clean the curve 5 cup every 2 weeks

I guess it’s time start my new tank build official thread. Will keep updating as I go. Received my tank today. One box was torn up and unfortunately one of the panel needs to be replaced. Also there is some damage to the sump (divider weir is all busted) that I am not too worried about because I am going to get rid of the sock holders and replacing them with a clarisea filter roller. This tank is a beast!

If you end up changing your mind and parting out let me know. Would be interest in some of the livestock (tomini and clowns)

I still have some Prime stop dip if you want to give that a try. It’s the new dip that seems to be working pretty well. Worked better than bayer or coral rx for my issues with STN

Also check all the equipement. You could have something rusting in the sump

There is a new icp test that is done in the US. Results came back in 10 days when i did it but it didnt include analysis of my rodi water. The ati was better but turn around was 3-4 weeks

If i were you, i would do a 20% water change with a different salt. When i had issues with the bad batch of red sea pro, it was an instant improvement when i changed salt and did a large water change.

Lowering a pollutant by 1.5% per day doesn’t help much especially if it’s getting in the system faster than that...

Also small 1.5 gallon water changes daily don’t do much to get rid of pollutants in the water. If I were you I would do a 20% water change
