  1. This morning, I'm at 60 incoming. My water supply seems to be moving around.
  2. I'm surprised (but shouldn't be). The incoming water quality to our house has always felt good. I complain in the late summer time if TDS creeps up to 60-70 range. Peak winter time, I'm usually 10-20 range. And in between usually 20-30 range. It was ~25 about 1-2 weeks ago when I made last batch of new RO water. Today... 55. I know, not a huge number, but the change in two weeks surprised me. Don't worry, TDS out of the RO is always 0. But my Silica has always run high. So this year for Xmas (black friday sales) I bought a new spectrapure beast, with supposedly good finishing cartridges - capable of catching more silica. Likely to install it over the T-Giving holiday weekend. What's the incoming TDS feeding your RO systems today?

    Fish traps

Following. I'm hoping someone has tried a tankmatez trap, they look interesting.
  4. I've had two other friends order them, for delivery, as well. Apparently they're hot sellers! I told you these are awesome.
  5. I am a Supporting Member And I'm adding an interesting picture I took of my tank recently. An Emerald Crab I thought I'd lost long ago. Found him while inspecting the tank in the morning, under red lights. What interesting picture are you going to post, when you submit your entry?
  6. That went amazingly fast. As you can see, the box I pulled my 2nd one from was full. This was the HD just north of Hwy 26, at Murray exit. (Yes, I bought a spare. Because it's also good for painting, and I wouldn't want to mix painting and Aquarium supplies.)
  7. I bought a bunch of these in bulk. Drop me a PM if you want one. I'm in Cedar Mill.
  8. Last Xmas, a very creative friend gave me the Handiest Aquarium Tool I've had in Years. ... A painting platform, to stand on while working in the tank. I've used step stools as my reefing go to... they're now obsolete for me. This thing is amazing. Walk back and forth whole length of my tank. Light weight/easy to move. ... Normally $70 at Home Depot. This weekend, I spotted this sale going on. $35 for this platform is a no brainer. Heads up. On Sale In front of my tank Another view (tank was in blackout for Dinos)
  9. Picked up Pack 4 last night. I can attest, Titus's tank looks awesome. Well done, and thanks for the corals!
  10. Andrew, Nice seeing you tonight, and meeting your family. Don't think I've met them before. Thanks for the UV, and wish you all the best. (BTW, he's got a Fantastic looking Big Tank - empty and ready for someone to make an offer... Hint hint)
  11. I LIKE it. I can finally have a tank in my office, once I'm allowed to actually go back to the office.
  12. I already checked, my card is worth $10.
  13. Must be an artifact of my kitchen lighting. Looking at the card right now, it's definitely blue. Darkish-blue, but not black.
  14. I blanked it out after someone helped me realized I'd posted the actual code. And... I actually received Two BRS orders this week. One with the free ATI light (no card), and the other with the Card. I included it in the picture to get BRS into the photo.
  15. At least they didn't just leave the card out of your order overall. Actually, it's cool they realized the error and actually send it in a separate pkg. I like my Varios pumps. I've got the 2 on my skimmer and was using two 4's for closed loop circulation. (until I changed the tank setup) Free is a good thing. Think that you've not got an extra pump, for that day you may need it and it's nice to have. [Confession, I LIKE extra equipment. Always have.]
  16. @islandVib3s - What scope did you order, and from where? I'm starting to wonder if I need one as well. (John's been awesome scoping samples from my tank, just thinking I may want a more Real-Time option for myself.)
  17. I never win stuff, but today I opened my order from BRS... And there was an extra item - a Free ATI Prime 16HD LED light! I went and found the BRS give away video. If interested, I'm at 4:45. Never called my name, but you can tell by what I ordered. Whoo Hoo! (no, I'm not cycling my tank. But I am in a Kill Dino cycle, and want an ATI "Before" and "After" test run. Already sent in the before, needed an after kit. (Eli, If you're watching - I'm also running Oceamo tests as well. MB7 was just to have some spare at home.)
  18. I love the instant access to trends from my Trident. I have only one regret... I wish it also measured Nitrate and Phosphate, so I don't have to measure those manually either. It's been a game changer of improving stability for me. ( I turn my Ca Reactor on/off based on Alk rising too high, I notice shifts in Mg faster, and manually add suppliments...)
  19. And they've arrived, safe and sound. One day shipping, included in the order costs. Arrived before noon. Unboxed, Acclimated, and counted. Arrived in two bags, of 25 each. PM's being sent now. Acclimation instructions, for anyone interested. https://www.saltyunderground.com/article/16-berghia-acclimation-process Pictures:
  20. Update: Salty Underground has shipped, UPS confirms delivery expected today. Will be looking to distribute starting tomorrow. Will make individual arrangements.
