  1. I used their controllers on two tanks. The first one never had an issue. The second about 3 months in the probe crapped out. I emailed them and they sent me the new sealed version of the probe to swap it out with. Not sure if they have two different versions salty and not so salty, but the new probe worked great until I switched to Apex.
  2. Also, how is the flow in that area? I had a spot prone to cyano that ChemiClean and boosting the flow to that area cured it for good.
  3. What does it mean if I misread "stick head" in your title? 😃
  4. Maybe something like this? https://www.amazon.com/Marine-Shrink-Assortment-Waterproof-Electrical/dp/B0176Y0AEI or https://www.cableorganizer.com/heat-shrink/adhesive-heat-shrink/
  5. There is one in every picture so far. Is this an attempt at getting a sponsorship?
  6. When I went to the new one by Best Buy the saltwater livestock was fresh and healthy. Granted they had just opened a few days before. Nice fat yellow tang when I was there. The Petco in Keizer station no longer carries saltwater livestock. They still have all of the salt and additives though. The Petco on Lancaster I've only been to once and the saltwater stuff there was typical Petco, sickly. The Petco on Commercial is hit or miss. I live very close to it and go in there once or twice a month to look around or to pick up something tank related. I've seen some decent looking livestock on occasions and some not so great. I have never been brave enough to buy Petco marine life.
  7. I have two you can choose from. I'll snap some pictures tomorrow. I am in Salem.
  8. I have only used it once when building RC planes, the stuff smelled so bad that I vowed to just buy more clamps.
  9. Any hobby store should have it. It is just cyanoacrylic (aka super glue or CA) accelerator. Same stuff just with BRS sticker on it.
  10. WOW! That is pretty dang cool!

If this is it, take the mount off and twist the two halves apart.
  12. You can order some barrel plugs: https://www.digikey.com/products/en/connectors-interconnects/barrel-power-connectors/435?k=barrel+plug&k=&pkeyword=barrel+plug&sv=0&pv1954=41152&sf=0&FV=-8|435&quantity=&ColumnSort=0&page=1&pageSize=25
  13. This one? From R2R: The brick itself is listed as 24v 1.5a. The barrel jack is 3.76mm OD, positive polarity. If you take that power brick to any electronics supply store worth their salt they'll probably carry it.
  14. My BTA didn't mind the fluconazole. It definitely works.
  15. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3722099 Might work with some scaling
  16. We did our estate planning last year and all of the tank stuff goes to PNWMAS.
  17. I had mine clog once. The line was bumped at some point and ended up touching the side of the sump creating a nice stalactite of ALK. As long as they were never touching anything they never clogged.
  18. Dude, the reflection. Pretty sure you're shirtless and have a beer bottle at your side! Freakin' awesome!
  19. I've been doing it that way since the first time I used my Hanna Checkers. Flashbacks to my days in the Navy as an ELT testing steam generator water and reactor coolant. You could go one step further and rinse the packet out with your sample water but that might be over kill. We did that with our pH calibration reagent packets.
  20. Pretty cool pictures and info. https://oceanexplorer.noaa.gov/explorations/19biolum/background/plan/plan.html
  21. Sorry for not responding. Forgot to follow the post. The nems are all gone.
  22. Yes. Moved what I could without transferring any of the aptasia or majano to a 40B setup. Now I can do the floors and set up the 150 or 120 or both. 😃
  23. Yes, I machined a cover for the overflow and both returns have check valves.
