Oh yea and about Harvard, They helped cram the affordable care act down our throats. Then step back and say. Hey man my insurance premiums are too high someone needs to fix this now! Well I pay almost double what I payed before that crap law. Also every time my renewal comes due it increases even more. I have a few choice words to say about Harvard but will keep them to myself. Was just talking with my friend Edgar from work about this thread. He is from Oaxaca Mexico about as far south as one can get. He confirmed to me that most of not all of Mexico is updated just like us. He wants to visit his home and take his family, also take his dad a new work truck. But is afraid to drive it down there. His brother about 6 months ago got robbed (at gun point) on his way there. They would have taken everything if his brother wouldn't have hidden money at the bottom of a nocho chip bag. He said they take anything of any value other then the car. He told me flat out its like this because common people can't fight back. Common people down there get walked on by the government and criminals alike.

Soon as the United States government gets involved in anything is goes down hill. They have good intentions at first, then money and power overtakes the powers to be. Then we end up like Mexico. Then the governments in charge of everything we do. Lex commented that Mexico was a third world country. I believe he maybe wrong with that statement. Numbering the country's were to define ether they were, or were not going to align them selves with NATO during the Cold War. Mexico is as advanced as any other western countries. They have Home Depot's, iPhone's and high speed internet just like we do. What they don't have is people that are not afraid of there government.

The thing with trying to take all the guns would be impossible. Today at work I was talking with some very good friends/coworkers. (I work for one of the largest nurseries in the pacific NW) so of course all of them are from Mexico. They told me horrible stories of what the government and criminals get away with because the people are not allowed to have guns. They were telling me the police are so crooked and the government covers up so many of the mass shooting that other countries never even here of them. They don't have problem with individuals shooting up places but the government or government hired narcos doing it. Am I wrong or isn't this why we have the second amendment? Lex With the Australian buy back, to me it don't seem to pencil out. They bought back 643.000 firearms for $230 million. So that works out to be like $357. Ea?if they spent every penny on firearms and not labor to process them. That may work for some but what if you have a gun with a fair market value of say 3k wich is not very uncommon. I have several friends with 3 to 5k into each AR and own several. Would you expect them to take that great of a loss? That would be like me telling you I'll give you $357 for your reef aquarium.. You would tell me to pound sand! Further more they taxed the same people to raise the money to buy the guns from the people that didn't even want to sell them. I find it that when the government taxes and they have the money need the tax never stops

Trying to take all the guns away is impossible, there are an estimated three hundred fifty million. All that would happen is the law abiding people would turn them in and the criminals wouldn't. We would just end up with a nation of armed criminals just like Mexico. Criminals are just that, they don't do what's right. People like me that have quite a collection of antique family heirloom firearm would be turned into criminals. There is no way I could willingly turn over my families history to be destroyed because of a few dumbies

It was great making it to your shop today glad I did. It's quite the adventure for me to get their so I have to kinda pick and choose, but today was perfect with the holiday. The Royal Gramma looks great in our tank! My son wanted that yellowtail tamarin wrasse real bad. I have been trying to teach him that we need to do a bit of research before just buying a fish. When we got home I had him do Some googling. He agreed that fish was a bit above our skill set it this point. Also thos Red Sea Reefers very cool. Dave

Used for only two weeks then replaced it with a Quite One pump. I had it for sell once before, then decided to keep it for a spare. I ended up with another Quite One for a spare. It was just way to much for my liking. I bought it new from Ocean in a box for $78.00. I have everything but the foam pre filter. I have looked everywhere, but I think my dog ate it.
