  1. I need to get a custom steel stand made. 42 by 36 and 30 high box, using 1x1 rectangular steel tubing. It is for a 36 by 36 tank, so it needs an extra tube on top to support the edge of the tank (at 36"). I plan to have it powder-coated when it is done, so I need all welds ground smooth. I PM'd pnkrcklives but haven't heard back from him. Please let me know if you know anybody that can do this work accurately and for a decent price. Mark
  2. Waveline seems to make new pumps and then other Chinese manufacturers make copies of Waveline's old pumps. There was an article about this online, which caused me to buy Waveline DC pumps.
  3. More than one company makes a DC-12000 pump. What company makes the DC-12000 you have?
  4. I found out that I need a total re-roof of cedar shingles. I've been shocked by some of the quotes I'm getting.
  5. I agree. I use a chiller so my tank never goes above 78.
  6. I stopped by CNC early today and junkie had already locked up the Bellus pair. He couldn't wait until Wednesday.
  7. I should have a 66x27x12 frag tank, metal stand, and sump for sale soon.
  8. Doug, I'll take 1 EB8 and the medium Avast reactor. - Mark
  9. Sorry to hear that you are dropping out of the reefing scene Doug. What model of Radion will you be selling?
  10. I plan to come by at :11:00 to pick up my corals.
  11. My filefish cleared out all of majanos too. And then the few zoas I had.
  12. I have a lot of large pieces of slimmer and blue stag. PM me an offer. Mark
  13. I think it would be cheaper to rent a jack to jack up the joist just a little next to the support point (on a pad) and then insert a post on a pad cut to the right length on your joist support point. You can also insert a thin piece of material between the post and joist to take up any inaccuracies in the post length. Then when you let the jack down, the joist will rest on the post.
  14. I have one with a bulkhead installed to use as a sump. I never used it.
  15. Borrow a pump for now and get a Waveline DC-6000 pump, on sale at Salty Supply for $150. I can lend you a pump if you need one. Mark
  16. Thank you for all of your work over the years in keeping things going. I have nothing but appreciation for all of your contributions.
  17. Some people are paranoid about everything. I'm only worried about zombies. Have you noticed all the mentions of zombies in movies and TV? Coincidence, I don't think so.
  18. Just 1 hole and it is 1/2" acrylic.
  19. I want to change the overflow on a tank. It currently has a small corner overflow and I would like to have a larger one. I can remove the corner overflow and block the hole, but then what are my options? Do I have to route out comb slot in the back wall and add a long box? What would you recommend?
  20. I would reccomend Live Aquaria and Pacific Island Aquatics. I have purchased fish from both and will do so again in the future. - Mark
  21. Thanks. I was hoping some LFS handled this kind of repair but any suggestion helps. - Mark
