  1. Those were awesome but, unfortunately we did not get a pic. They had some really amazing fish. I liked the haraem of golden rhomboids also even though they aren't as rare.
  2. Great meeting with lots of good information to share. I am really excited to learn about Colby and his operation. As Kim noted it is encouraging to find more vendors who put so much thought and effort into making sure their livestock are healthy for both the short and long term. I love that they have a vet tech on staff and routinely do diagnostics. The only bummer is that they are about an hour and a half away... but well worth the trip! Thanks again to everyone who worked to organize this event. Seeing the weedy dragons alone was amazing but it was valuable in so many ways - and a blast as well!
  3. Nice! And the name isn't even too embarrassing ? Might need to come by to check those out.
  4. I have found a total of one in my 120 so I'm not much help unfortunately. Maybe we could get them together for date night? ❤️ They are neat to have so good luck finding a source.
  5. Trailerman started a thread recently about flow control for a calcium reactor and there were lots of good tips in that. Definitely a no go on the brass and needle vale more commonly on the input. I would check out that thread though as it might give you some other ideas.
  6. Time to extend the kitchen island! I noticed the Jane and Diane as well but figured Sirena just fell victim to the infamous autocorrect. That is based purely on the musical reference... no preconceptions involved (before you ask?)
  7. Haha! I was just thinking... someone must be a John Mellencamp fan! Welcome home Jack and Diane ?
  8. That is sick! Where do you find these Rudy? You have had some amazing nems lately. I must resist, I must resist...
  9. Just replied about this on your other thread. Yeah, I hate to say it but would consider removing the six line. Other cool fish that might work well in there would be a sunburst (fat head) anthias. They are beautiful, calm and somewhat shy so are hard to accommodate in larger, busier tanks with tangs etc. but it would work in yours as long as the clowns don't get overly aggressive. I would suggest talking to Cherany (FlashyFins) as she has done a ton of research on interesting fish for small tanks and would probably have great suggestions. She also keeps a lot of LPS in her tanks so is sensitive to how fish and inverts interact to those. Welcome back! (saw you were a member back in the day as well).
  10. If you have a six line in the tank I would say 99.9% chance he is the culprit. The only times I have lost fish to jumping was when I had one. Beautiful fish but every one I have had was sneaky aggressive.
  11. Awesome - thank you!!! Cooler sitting next to the door...
  12. Bring it on! Let's see some weedy dragons!
  13. This is what I was thinking as well. As beer mentioned, park rose hardware is a great source for all those fittings if it's anywhere near you.
  14. Congrats all and thank you for being willing to carry the torch for another year. Greatly appreciated!
  15. Nice find on the tank - cool dimensions. Sounds like you had some fun tank moving adventures but at least it all worked out OK and you have a great start on the build. Looking forward to seeing this up and running!
  16. That nem is crazy and it is a fantastic pic. Congrats Holly!
  17. Well, the patience thing is good training for pretty much everything else having to do with reefing I'm not any good at it either but I do get lots of practice!
  18. Let me know what I owe you for those Bert - I think one of the microlados and the twilight are per my request but I may have lost track in the thread at some point. Thanks!
  19. Bummer Cody - I was looking forward to getting to meet you (and maybe win some of your WCC gift certificates ).
  20. At least this time it isn't part of his running system! Had me worried for a while...
  21. With bonus points for every double entendre you can work into your update
  22. In addition to this mod, you should probably check your supply pressure to make sure it is optimal. Below 60 psi or so, you probably won't be getting as efficient production as you could. BRS did some controlled testing showing the output in relation to supply pressure and you can definitely tweak this to your advantage with a booster pump if so desired. If I recall correctly, you could get increased efficiency between 60 to 90 psi but the video is worth a look if you are interested. Good luck!
  23. Yeah - after being away so long it's great to see it not only surviving but apparently thriving! Glad to see that you are still with us and keeping all the wheels greased on the admin side. Thanks for your efforts!
  24. Awesome - thanks! Looking forward to seeing some weedy dragons and all of you as well.
  25. Hey Miles - I would be in to trying this out if the offer still stands. Plan to be at the meeting and my current mix is running out so perfect time to try something new!
