  1. I've never been to a local shop that used the Hanna. I've taken samples of my water to many shops out of curiosity and none used a Hanna. Most seem to use red sea, salifert, or nyos.
  2. I got fed up with colors. Got a Hanna. But I'm just as accurate with redsea. So I guess I didn't need the Hanna but used it to double check I was reading the color correctly
  3. I'm not positive but ip65 is more a water resistant than true submersible rating. I wouldn't trust those directly submerged in my tank.
  4. How many pajama cardinal do you have? What type of goby is that?
  5. The one chewie showed is the correct one, I have the hose end sprayer version cause couldn't find the concentrate
  6. Just trying to help prevent loss like I had. Some of mine were wwc pieces that were nice, like a couple Millies. I mix Bayer to a watered down milk color(can't see through it but also not white) and soak for 10-15 with flow, I use a disposable pipette. Then 2 or 3 rinses for 5 minutes each in tank water, also with flow. I do all my acclimation before.
  7. Any clue if these might skip in those t5 hybrid fixtures instead of say the ai Hydra led? I'd love these due to reduced side bleed, I could move my tank to the living room and still see the TV.
  8. Wow, that's nice of you. I remember when I bought mine from cuddle fish, not cheap. Someone is gonna be lucky
  9. Do not use h2o2 on sps. Zoa's only. Also don't use multiple things without a break in between. I've killed plenty using reef dip and coralrx before I knew better.
  10. I use Bayer. Use quality nitrile gloves. It's not the rose one. When I get home I'll send a pic of the bottle. I've had bad luck with coral rx and sps. Never an issue with Bayer. I dip in Bayer then 3 rinses.
  11. Wow, I expected a little more support for a tank that size
  12. At least it's real wood, pine maybe, but wood. Red Sea stands are little more than Ikea furniture quality with a nice finish.
  13. That was a brutal hurricane. Destroyed half the east coast. Don't forget the pics while there, both of macna and when you go diving 😁
  14. Most hurricanes drop to a wind storm by landfall. But be safe. Maybe they'll do a macna in Idaho some year. The only natural disaster would be Yellowstone
  15. Mine has done that. May be where a branch will start. Mine was stung by anemone.
  16. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on person, It's a 1927. Roof is new in 2015. Vinyl windows everywhere but basement, breezeway, garage. Walls were insulated at some point. New NG water heater when I moved in last year, died the first week. New oven/hood. NG fireplace in basement with wood t&g throughout. Wood fireplace on main living room. Oak hardwoods in living, original fir floors in Hall and one bedroom. Other bedroom has fir but we never got around to removing carpet. Price is negotiable, just want someone to rent/buy who will love it for the old growth that cannot be replaced in a lifetime. Some rhodies are 20 feet tall. The ones in back yard have paths under/ through them. Did I mention 2 driveways with tons of parking? I had my boat, tent trailer, jeep, another jeep, and Honda in one driveway with room for more and you didn't see them.
  17. House for sale, or possibly rent, in SE off 164th and Powell. Pets accepted, aquariums if you carry insurance to cover flood. .46 kinda fenced acres. Large fenced garden area. Mature trees. Planted several fruit trees last year. Rhodedendrons as big as a house split the property plus make it private from the road. 100 year old deodar cedar in front. Lots of birds. Wisteria is very old, flowers multiple times a year. Lots of flowering trees/shrubs/plsnts. Two mature fig trees. Barn and green house with power. Basement plus 1 bedroom on second floor. 3 bed 1 bath. Double car garage separate from house by a breezeway that was our dog room that has doors to front/back. Quiet neighbors have been there for awhile, one 40+ years. Don't want to sell due to old growth rhodies and trees. Since a price is necessary I will put $2400 plus utilities per month. Very negotiable. Or $375k
  18. I'd run mh but I can't deal with the heat in my house without a/c
  19. I like the clam better. But it's still nice. All my sps have turned brown since my move so I'm waiting to see what happens.
  20. Or, try a safe mover. They have special equipment for moving serious weight up stairs
  21. Forum members but any moving company should do. Or friends.
  22. That's the one. Wish it would have been designed with a hinge to get out of the way while working in the tank.
  23. I use the stock ai mount, it's ok. Would be nice if the stainless hardware were better quality, it does rust. They are better than the garbage mounts offered for the prime that have a narrow foot.
  24. Or do a 50lbs tank for about the same price and plumb it from somewhere.
