  1. How flat you talking? You could always try the tile cutter.
  2. I had to go look that up, that's my first time even hearing the name. Thanks for the info. GLWS!
  3. Awwww, I'm sorry to hear that. You're right that life in the reef is fleeting. It's still a huge bummer when a cherished piece goes suddenly. I just lost my green and orange scoly I've had for several years. As I tell outsiders when talking about reefing, it's a grim hobby.
  4. Very nice. Was that a black tang and a vlamingi?
  5. I love the horseshoe. Atoll indeed! Good job, can't wait to see it stocked.
  6. Still recovering from the move. Doing really well though!
  7. I've been guilty of this too. Better like Scott said to start loose. Plumbers tape never hurt either.
  8. Finally got my tank up and ordered 20x Opae Ula from Shrimp Mart. They'll be here Monday and I'll post some pictures. I have a chunk of chaeto wedged in the rock structure I built that seems to be doing OK but we'll see. How are the marimo doing @Jack-the-reefer? That green algae xmas is growing seems to be their favorite food according to my source. I'm hoping since I have some minimal flow and a little bit of added light that the macro will thrive.
  9. The pictures also have the euro plugs. I would assume there's just different models. I have no idea idea what RB is doing selling that but since I've been using their LED's for a few years I can safely say that the owner Logan is a super good guy to do business with. If he saw fit to sell them, it's probably a safe bet.
  10. Better start feeding that thing heavy, it's your golden goose!
  11. Hope it sells quick! Looks like it when comparing to the local market.
  12. Really well done, as usual! I would totally buy that calendar.
  13. @badxgillen No worries! More than happy to get it to you finally!
  14. Active duty Army. This was back in 2004-05? If I manage that in 20 minutes these days I'm satisfied. I'm also happy my knees have been put back together enough to even jog (albeit with straps/braces).
  15. Bert can I bring you a 5-10 eye OME? That Tierra del Fuego and red planet I got from you are doing well. I am on a livestock moratorium for a while until I'm happier with my overall QT situation but will have a few good frags to share. My aussie blasto colony continues to drip heads so there will definitely be a couple of those.
  16. I love pavona but am terrified of letting it loose in my tank due to its prolific nature. Can't wait to see this contest though. Good subject pick again Miles!
  17. Nice! Never heard of these. How do they avoid the typical kriesel-shaped requirements and not get sucked through filtration?
  18. I got in a hurry with my current system and ended up with external overflows which are subject to this problem too. The issue was solved the same way. Good thing you said something because I'm picking up a 650 within the next couple months. I'll be sure to gate it.
  19. Good for you Jeremy! I've been running off and on since leaving the service and there is nothing better. Now if I could have some new knees, spine, lungs... lol. Usually my goal starts at 10 minute miles but minimum of 3-5 miles per run. I hear ya on the training delays too. Injuries happen a lot easier in my 30's. 8 minutes would probably send my asthmatic butt into a grave these days. Long gone are my 12:50 2-miles. :(
