That angle you’re seeing is probably because the wall side of the tank stand is sitting on the tack strip for the rug. If you pull the tank off the wall 2-3” the slope will probably go away.

Ron, how much do you want for the primes?

I’ve used regular PVC solvent, no problems like Manny said. Oatey makes a transition solvent specifically for ABS to PVC if you’re worried about it. Not a pressure line, so it’s not critical that you have a crazy strong bond.

Super interested in the primes. Are they black or white?

Sump looks good, you could probably tumble chaeto in that center section.

40b has an awesome footprint for a display tank, I think you are going to like it.

I wouldn’t leave it in romex, especially if you are going to drywall over it. Last thing you want is a mouse/rat nest in the wall and one of those little bastards starts chewing on it.
