  1. Welcome to the PNWMAS Classified Forum!  The intent of this forum is to provide a platform for hobbyists to buy/sell/trade saltwater-related items and livestock.  Please review the following rules.  Posts not in compliance with the rules, or are otherwise inconsistent with the purpose and mission of the PNWMAS, will be removed without notice at the discretion of the officers, board members, and moderators.

Who May Start a Classified Thread

    1. Any individual or family member may start a thread, except vendors.  Vendors include individuals or businesses that acquire goods for the purpose of reselling them.  This includes, but is not limited to, those who purchase directly from a manufacturer or wholesaler.

    2. There is no post count requirement, but all new threads must be approved before going live.

What Must Be In a Classified Thread

    1. The title of the thread must indicate whether you are selling (“WTS”), buying (“WTB”), or trading (“WTT”).

    2. Sellers must include a price.

    3. Sellers with multiple items for sale must list them in one thread.

    4. Threads must be updated when items are pending/sold.

    5. Location information and/or whether the item can be shipped should be included.

What is Not Allowed In a Classified Thread

    1. Listings for non-saltwater-related items.  There is an “Out of Bounds” classified forum for those items.

    2. Posts disputing a sale price.  Use Direct Messaging if you want to discuss price.

    Thank you!

Way to go Holly! U work extremely hard on  ur tank and its amazing to see so many  people appreciating your amazing corals.

Holly reminds of why I got into this hobby in the first place. She could obviously sell these corals for way more then $10. Its more about building relationships and talking reefs.

I've been very happy to call her my BFF for a while now and u are a shining star in the reefing community!

    Thanks for being you!

    Awww...you're the best!

  3. Here we go!

The packs are identified by picture below.  Each 6-pack is $60.  If you see a pack you want, post "Sold" and the number.  If someone beat you to it, you’ll automatically go on a list of back ups for that pack.

If you are the first person to post “Sold” and the number, you will have 24-hours to make payment (Paypal*--hollysomers@yahoo.com or Venmo--holly-somers), or the pack goes to the next person.  You have 7-days for pick-up, or the pack goes to the next person.  *Paypal "Sending to a friend" only.

The pictures are the actual frag in the pack (as opposed to the mother colony or internet pic).  If you have a question about what something is, or the size, or whatever, feel free to PM me.

Local pick-up only.  I’m in southwest Portland near Washington Square.

  4. Tonight's the night!  Tune in at 6 pm.  The sale will be in a new thread clearly marked as the "SALE THREAD."

Also, for those of you who are looking for the gold hammers, be aware that some of the packs have gold hammers, some have bicolor hammers and some have a lilac-colored hammers, so pay attention to the pics to make sure you get the right one.  But, they will probably go fast, so don't wait!

    Here are more teaser pics!

  5. A lot of you are familiar with my $10 sales--every coral is $10 (yes, $10!).  You are also familiar with the fact that I haven't been able to put one on since COVID.  So, in April and in August I did online 6-pack sales that have been a huge success.  It's time for another!

This Friday night (November 6) at about 6 pm, I’ll post the packs in a separate thread entitled “SALE THREAD--Friday Night 6-packs.”  Here’s how it will work:

    1.    I’ll post pics of the packs, with numbers.  Each pack is $60 (6 corals at $10 per coral...keep up with me here people).

    2.    You post “sold” and the number.

    3.    You will have 24-hours to make payment (Paypal* or Venmo), or the pack goes to the next person.  You have 7 days for pick-up, or the pack goes to the next person.  *Paypal--"Sending to a friend" only

    4.    Local pick-up only.  I’m in southwest Portland near Washington Square.

    Teasers:

Three of the packs have 2+ heads of gold hammers!  There two other types of hammers, too.  For those who like "designer corals," you'll see Pro Corals Rainbow acro, Reef Ready Grape Juice acro, ASD Rainbow Phoenix monti, Jason Fox Lunar lepto, and more.  For those of you who don't care about names, just know that each pack contains solid, healthy, corals.

This will be fun!  See you Friday!

  6. I have three beautiful BTAs available.  They are natural splits from two of my prized BTAs.  They are each over 5" and I've had them for well over a year.

--Green base, orange/red tentacles with bright pink tips (2 available)

--Speckled green with purple tips (1 available)

I had a really hard time getting pictures that do them justice.  The pic of the green/red/pink ones is pretty accurate, but the green/purple is much prettier than the pictures.  I've attached a pic of its brother (sister?) so you can see the speckling, but the green color is still off.

I guess kai figured out a way to let people see what we see. Its always a work in progress. We have to go by what we see.

Jorge was working so hard last time. Almost need to have three people typing.

These guys are working their butts off during a live sale!  It is an amazing production to watch in person.  You would never guess how much is really going on behind the scenes.  Here is a pic I snapped during the last sale.  Although it looks intense (and it is), don't let the picture fool you--they are having a blast.  Austin is on the left keeping track of who won what and for how much, Kai is doing the video/tech stuff, Jorge is in the middle (hidden behind some of the equipment) doing the chat, and you all know Jeff, the executive producer and leading role.  Oh, and I'm holding a beer and turning the lights on and off when Kai tells me to--super important stuff.  Love these guys!

  8. Well, I had an "event."  Everything in my tank is perfectly fine, except about an 8 inch circle of death in one of my frag tanks. My contest frag was one of the casualties.

I think what happened is that the air vent above the frag tank was open when we had that super hot weather two weeks ago.  With my AC running constantly, it caused a cold spot. That's my best guess, anyway.

    RIP little buddy. 79eb196f61380060e2347cd37e8e5e98.jpg
