  1. Thanks! Pulling the sand out was a very good decision for this tank. I've had that torch for a while now. I do think I got it from Jason though.
  2. Here's the 12g long tank. It's mainly zoas,
  3. Garrett had a big baby's breath he was selling a few weeks ago. You might ask him.
  4. There are always some nice acans at ocean in a box. Cuttlefish had some great frags when I was in there last week too.
  5. This is exactly what I'm hoping for. I replaced everything but the membrane in mine a few months ago. I tested when the algae started going crazy and I had 14 tds. I replaced everything again last week. Hopefully it all clears up now.
  6. I've built all of mine with aqualifter pumps and cheap float switches wired into an extension cord. If you don't mind the diy look, it takes about 10 minutes and 25$.
  7. I can't say for sure it's the cause, but it's probably not helping. I'm sure someone smarter than me will chime in soon.
  8. I'm not a nem expert, but that salinity is really low. Most people keep it at 1.025-1.026.
  9. You might give frozen bloodworms a shot. They're the first non love food my scooter blenny would eat. It was like crack for him though.
  10. Where do you live? I would take some.
  11. Is that going to be your only source of flow? When I had my 10 set up, I had an aquaclear 70, and a koralia nano 425. It was pretty perfect. If you have no other flow, two is probably a good bet though.
  12. Zoas can be finicky little turds. I have a few colonies that will close up for a week at a time, then open back up like nothing happened. Fruit loops are a little more touchy than most. Mine looked great one day, then didn't open one morning and melted pretty quick.
  13. I've also had good luck with blood worms for picky fish
  14. Have you tried cyclopeeze? That's the only thing my picky clown goby would touch.
  15. I hate them. I had three happy clarkatoas one night, one the next morning. I caught the little turd just as it was moving onto the last polyp.
  16. Talk to Steve (ssappington). His nems split every 20-30 minutes it seems like. He has some good tips for getting the splits off the rocks.
  17. Okay... I've been doing 5 gallon water changes every 3-4 days. I still have algae growth, except now it's more of a red/brown color. Good sign? Bad sign? Impending doom!?
  18. Good to hear. I'll cut a piece tonight.
  19. I have a big green sinularia leather I can always cut a piece off if for you.
