  1. Any what left? Only thing I have still is the HMS mount with 52 rail. First post edited
  2. I used wood shims for my 220 gal (empty of course). Didn’t really have to lift much, just had someone lean into the stand/tank a bit to get the shim started and hammered away. This is on carpet.
  3. If you are willing to drive and want lots of big fish at once...this guy has had this setup on CL for a long while. Catch is he wants to sell ALL livestock not just fish (rock/corals too). I already asked a while back about just fish and he said no. If you are able to part out the stuff you don’t want it could be a lucrative buy. https://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/for/d/bremerton-120-gallon-reef-aquarium/7114353211.html good luck! Big fish are hard to come by it seems lately.
  4. Haha I know the feeling, there is a closet in our hallway that I was debating having as a sump room but I’ve been happy with it all where it’s at 😄
  5. Been a while since I updated, tank is cruisin😎 Current livestock: XL 2 bar rabbitfish blue hippo tang yellow tang yellow eye kole tang clown wrasse 6x blue chromis flame angel 2x FP clowns I’m itching for another big fish, probably a tang. What do you guys think would go good? I’d really like a large orange shoulder tang. Not sure at this point which fish are safe adds to avoid aggression? FTS Today Happy my chalices are getting their deeper colors back, they put up with some neglect in my last tank. I need to get a camera filter... Good things come in grey and orange packages! This will be my second DOS which will go in the garage for AWC in the near future, waiting on tubing and adapters. Also have to run another conduit up to the tank (not my favorite job 😂)
  6. Also, when you say high vs good amount lower, what numbers are we talking about? I second using salifert test, as mentioned they are easy to read and I have had consistent results from them.
  7. I want the tank gone. It has scratches, they aren’t bad when filled. I just want it out of my garage... FIRE SALE $150
  8. This makes the most sense based on their movement and look, thanks for the ID! Yeah, I definitely have the usual red/black bristle worms in the tank so makes the most sense! It was really weird to see them, first time I’ve ever seen them in my years of reef keeping. Main thing was the bright orange color that made them stand out from the typical see through pods we are used to seeing.
  9. They very well could be but they are worm like, not pod like. It’s weird. I couldn’t find them last night when I looked.
  10. Whoops that’s airgas lol 🤦‍♂️
  11. There is a welding supply shop pretty close to Airgas where I did an exchange in the past (in Vancouver)....I’ll look it up...
  12. Yeah we’ll see, I’m usually not up with lights out but maybe I can. Keep in mind this is a 210 gal tank so might be hard. I’ll see what I can do 😂
  13. They are crazy, definitely seem more worm like than a pod. Who knows how long I’ve had them as I haven’t directly added pods for years, they just come along with my live rock that has been through a few tanks plus any hitchhikers from others.
  14. Idk what these are but they are FAST! Not sure if it’s some weird pod, worm of some sort or something else? Anyone have these? Only saw them with lights out and my iPhone flashlight. Excuse the glass needing a wipe down on the outside 🤪
  15. are you looking for the magnet that holds the pump to the glass or the shaft magnet? wondering if the shaft magnets are the same on 150 and 250 models. I have a 150 shaft you could have if you want, I ordered a 130 magnet forever ago and they sent the wrong one and didn’t want it back. I’d have to dig around the hoard to find it but it’s out there somewhere...
  16. I didn’t really have any residue despite overflowing 2x. The issue more was the carpet was matted down where the tank was. I used a carpet shampooer which helped but you could still see it was there. Might be different with different types of carpet though, I would say you should definitely run over it with a shampooer if you want to have any hope of fluffing it back up.
  17. I’d really love to get this tank moved, if anyone is concerned about transport of it, I can put it in our minivan and will drive up to about an hour from Camas!
  18. Holy cow sorry just saw this! All that’s left is the tank and the hydra HMS mount (light is sold and so is skimmer). Make offers!!!
  19. That’s the key there...to a point lol Our pond/water fall out back started out pretty tame but sounds like a full on Frog rave now 🗣🐸 Interesting little experiment. I don’t think my pond has enough “nature stuff” in it to do more than get a bottle of green algae water haha
  20. What are you gonna use for a light? There is tons of cool little nano lights these days.
  21. Browning can be a lighting issue, however, there seems to be other issues going on. I see several dead and dying SPS (possible STN/RTN going on). How’s your phosphate/nitrate/ammonia? As Brian said, need more info on your setup in general.
  22. I wonder if Triton Detox would bring it down. It’s the only heavy metal remover I’m aware of.
  23. I meant ceramic so it sinks. Might be tricky to cut in a circle but usually tiles are like $5 each so you could mess a few up in the process without spending a ton. I saw a thread where someone used some natural stone looking tile on a bare bottom tank and it actually looked pretty good. travertine tiles.
