  1. So many songs from the 80's could be sweet nem names...
  2. Not all pep's are the same...check a google search for the correct patterns.
  3. If I use my brin filter, it filters things like bad cell phone pics and LED lights, and WOW your tank looks amazing. I know, I have the same problem in my nano:( I feel like if you got that sandbed cleaned up in the front, you would have potential epic looking central aquascape...kinda Bob Ross esque. Happy trees.
  4. SUPER amazing photos. PLEASE share some of your photography tips. Some of the best macro photos I have seen on here.
  5. The aquascaping is really looking nice as tank fills in.
  6. It was time to change nanos... The 3 gallon micro tank was running really great, but some weird snail I brought home from the Oregon coast just absolutely shredded my acrylic, so the upgrade was eminent. I went with a rimless 8gallon JBJ setup AIO with ATO, Chinese LED, MP10, and a little titanium heater. This is my office tank, so I actually see it more often then my large home tank, so I am trying to do it right:) I just finished swapping it, the water is cloudy and the corals are pissssssted. Fish seem fine, so we'll see! Still have tidying up to do Its filter time. This tank will act as a mini frag tank, with just soft corals. Fish: purple firefish Crab: strawberry crab Yasa Hashi goby added 2-10 Carlos the fire shrimp added 2-21-16
  7. I have also been running a 3 gallon micro tank for the past year, but some weird snail I brought home from the Oregon coast just absolutely shredded my acrylic, so the upgrade was eminent. 8. Man o man, thats what mine did look like, before the Mojano's moved in! Great looking piece, still my favorite all timer...but I'm old school.
  9. I have a 7.3L Ford F350, similar body style(though not near as awesome looking as his)to the one posted above. Oh man, I love my truck. Gas mileage ranges from 15-18. Rides so nice and big. Pulls anything easy. We only drive it occasionally, but I did tow about 4,000 lbs to Montana a few weeks ago, barely knew I had a load.
  10. There is no adjusting it...besides moving your eyes closer or farther away from object.
  11. Its modeled after a magnetic cleaner, so it slides around on the glass, or in my case acrylic. Eseentially it is a macro lens of course...it is similar to lenses I have bought from premium aquarium where you look down from the surface...this provides a similar effect from the side of the tank instead. Gadgety yes, but super easy to use. Definitely not perfect, but a cool idea.
  12. Yep, here is the porthole. LINK Ebay is only place I could find it, but its a Fishstreet product. This is from Fishtreet website, but it doesnt look like its available from them.
  13. Current pest battles: Blue clove polyps...though there is some subtle beauty about them. Mojano's- these things really are starting to worry me. What have i tried with success? Removing rock. But yeah they are getting to be pretty much everywhere and dang they have a POWERful sting too. Am thinking of getting a bristletail filefish, but there is alot of coral the filefish may pick at ...
  14. Picked up one of these little porthole lenses after talking with mattv a fee weeks ago...took a few weeks to get here from Hong Kong, but wow this thing is so freaking cool. Iphone pics dont do it justice...anyone who really wants to super geek out on their corals should get one.
  15. Set it and dont forget it! Good reminder thanks Jack! I have to check mine every 6-8 months anyways, but ha never know!
  16. My OCD got the best of me, I only made it 10 minutes in! WOW though, what a tank.
  17. Looks great Holly! Whats with the green acan on the bottom? That thing is huge.
  18. $400 for the pair? Brett, i hear that leaving them in a garbage bag outside overnight will make them split for sure.
