  6. For the upcoming May 15th meeting & party at Cuttlefish & Corals, we will be offering several group buys. This is your chance to score some amazing frags at even more amazing prices! Jeff has selected some premium colonies to frag up and make available to a select lucky few members who sign up in time. Over the next several days, we will be opening new Group Buy threads for each colony. Most will be open to about 10 people, and it's first come, first serve. If you're interested in getting in on these deals, watch for the new threads to be announced each day at 6:00 pm, and reply to that thread if you want to claim your spot. The first X responders to each thread will have 24 hours to make their payment, but if not paid, then the next person in line will be offered that spot. The frags will be available for pickup at the May 15th meeting at Cuttlefish. In addition, there will be an extra-special group buy only available to paid Supporting Members. If you want to get in on that one, but you're not yet a Supporting Member, see this link for details on signing up in advance so you don't miss the opportunity: Good luck, everyone!!!
  7. FYI: I have a COR20 on my Reefer XL 425. It's plumbed with 1" PVC, has 3 x 90 degree elbows and 2 x 45 degree elbows before exiting through the Red Sea nozzle which is only about 5/8". Total plumbing height is only about 4 feet, yet my flow never exceeds 450 gph.
  8. I’m working with @CuttleFishandCoral to put the Group Buys together. We’ll post something soon!
  9. Another hilarious, yet educational video:
  10. You delete them from the list of Outputs. Which model of Apex? If it's the current Apex 2016 or Apex-EL, this can be done from Fusion. If it's an Apex Classic or older model, it must be done from the Classic Dashboard.
  11. Check out the amazing video footage of cleaner shrimp here:
  12. Thanks for the overview. The scope and scale of the Willamette Water Supply System project is massive, and it's something I've been following for some time since construction has been underway for the past few years in my area. It's also part of the larger South Cooper Mountain concept plan which was finalized in 2014 and envisions the area's growth into the 2050's. Big projects.
  13. You can also check out our Member Map to see locations of local fish/coral stores and fellow reefers: https://www.pnwmas.org/membermap/
  14. Welcome! Yes, not only do we have a locel group, we have a great group of volunteers who help coordinate meetings, events, raffles, group buys, etc. Once you arrive, keep your eye on the Meetings & Events subforum for announcements. You'll find a lot of friendly and enthusiastic reefers here. By the way, I also live in Beaverton!
  15. This is not a problem at all, and no need to apologize. I just wasn't aware of the entry fee until I saw this thread, so I thought I should ask. I'll update the meeting announcement so there is no confusion for attendees in June. I personally am really looking forward to this event !!!
  16. And just for anyone following along on this thread, don't forget we'll be holding our June PNWMAS meeting at the Hatfield Marine Science Center on June 4th! Sid, will the $3 entry fee apply to this meeting? If so, I'll update the meeting announcement post so everyone will be aware.

  18. I got one of the very first Tridents on launch night, but I got it 36 minutes early due to a glitch in the BRS web site. They accidentally opened it up for sale in advance of the midnight sale schedule. They were sold out 1 hour later. 🥳
  19. Am I the only one that was afraid to view this thread due to the title??? 🤣
  20. Inside the Trident there are 6 separate tubes that all connect to a central manifold. Water and/or reagents are pumped through the tubes to the appropriate location as it goes through its testing cycles. Many people have had problems where the tubes slip off the manifold fittings, leading to failed tests and leaks. For the record, mine has never had any problems for nearly 3 years now.
  21. Thanks for the update! It’s exciting to hear about your progress, and really great to hear the kids are so interested and involved with the tank. Happy reefing. 🙂 p.s. great photos!
  22. Excellent work! I'm so glad to hear you were able to fix it.
  23. The temperature here is steadily climbing, and the snow is melting rapidly. Nearly 40° now.
  24. Not a good day to be driving anywhere near the west hills. Hwy 26 completely closed due to fallen trees near the zoo.
  25. Oh, that’s an EB832, not EB8. You might consider sending it to this guy for repair: https://www.fixreef.com/mail-in-repair/ It’s way cheaper than going through Neptune Support and he replaces the fried components with higher quality parts.
