  1. I'm out in St. Helens (north of town).
  2. +1 for the marine pure block. Between having the block, chaeto with a grow light (LED) and an oversized skimmer I can basically feed as much as I want and see nitrates rise.
  3. I bought some a while back when I pulled the fish from my system (due to ich problems....). This bag I bought seems like it might be a lifetime supply. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0190TOJUS/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The stump remover is probably fine too, but if you dose it for long enough your potassium will get too high. I used sodium nitrate (above) and some advice from Randy Holmes on R2R to determine dosing. I basically mixed a small amount in a gallon of water and then dosed daily. It definitely raised the nitrates and was a bit trickier to control then I expected.
  4. I would suggest buying new since pH probes need to be stored in solution to remain accurate. I recalibrate mine regularly and replace about annually. I just throw away the old ones away... If you wait a few months you can have my old one, but I don't recommend it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Awesome. Got your msg and sent one back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm looking to get a frag of this. Anyone have one to sell or trade? I know it's not rare. My wife likes it and the local shops haven't had any lately so I'm trying here. I'll be at the meeting this month and could grab it then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. I have a piece (accidental frag from a while back) of green hammer coral that could go. I think it has two heads. If you are going to the meeting next week send me pm and we can figure it out.
  9. It looks like you are not able to get PMs... Are you still looking to trade a piece of purple stylo for zoas? I have lots of zoas. Are you looking for something particular? I have lots of gobstoppers, watermelons and bam bams. I also have plenty of unnamed zoas and some palys. I attached a couple tank picks. I have some small pieces ready to go or I could frag something. I can take a better picture of any of them if you want. I'll be at the club meeting next weekend so if we figure something out maybe that is a good place to swap them.
  10. I have some zoas I would trade for a purple stylo. I'll send you a pm.

  14. This sounds interesting. I might join the fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. We managed to keep them alive and growing. They lived in a torch for a while but now prefer the bubble coral. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. The count is now up to 4. I'm guessing the are more yet to be spotted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Here's a better picture with the lights on. I hope they make it. My tank isn't heavily stocked and there are some good hiding place. I just did a big mixed feeding including some reef chili. I'm hoping there is something they can survive on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Do I leave them alone or isolate them? I had no idea my 2 adults were even opposite genders let alone breeding... Terrible picture but maybe you can see them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I'm an Actuary. So if you need to calculate probabilities or understand insurance fine print I can probably help you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Merry Christmas everyone! Santa surprised me this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
