  2. I have been using it for a few years. It took me a while to get it working as I wanted. I think your PH is high and is probably melting it too slowly. Reborn seems to melt at a higher ph point vs remag in my experience. I like the coarse ARM with it better but it can work with reborn fine too (ARM melts lower). With reborn I just slowly added more than recommended remag until levels stabilized where I wanted (dosing back up to target each time I added more).
  3. For what it’s worth I was advised to raise my temp to 81-82 to help with dynos. It seemed to work for me. They were gone within a week.
  4. John, I'm so sorry. It does happen to all of us. I think I saw your tank early this year and it looked great! I've been quietly battling my own issues. I figured out my problem but it took a long time. I had transitioned from bare bottom to crush coral substrate and had not problems...for a while. I had also switch to ReeFi lights at the same time. At any rate, my brother eventually helped me figure it out (he does tank maintenance for Premium Aquatics). Go figure, my issue was a buildup up nitrate, which let me to start carbon dosing. Well I ended up with too much phosphate, hair algae growth and then GFO. Eventually I dealth with the issue and pulled most of the rock and substrate, and got it back into balance. So hang in there. We aren't proud of our failures, but it's part of the hobby and we all benefit from talking about the hard parts of reef husbandry. Forgot to add that I lost a lot of SPS, but luckily a few nice pieces survived and are clawing back--Like my Walt Disney which was just a spec on a rock at the worst of it. Now encrusted to about a quarter size with several branches starting.
  5. Congrats Andrew! Time flies--you'll be setting a tank up for the kid before you know it.
  6. I wonder how much flow that can handle. I think it would get slammed into the rocks in my reef 😀
  7. I'm running 4 of these as well and I'm very happy. I'm seeing great growth and coloration.
  8. Just a reminder to not ingest this stuff--It doesn't end well. https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/23/health/arizona-coronavirus-chloroquine-death/index.html

  10. That’s scary. I run all my equipment in the garage and now I’m thinking a smoke detector might be needed for safety. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Chemiclean will wipe it out temporarily, but not permanently. How are your nitrate and phosphate levels?
