  1. Wow, I want a camera, and patience, and a tang for subject.
  2. Thanks Crabby, good warning that I was not aware of.
  3. thanks everyone. I am going with Revive, Bayer, and new plugs per BRS video, plus H2O2 for algae. Finally have a few corals in my well cured and cycled 20 ga. coral Q.T. ....And still healthy after a full two days. So I am taking it one day at a time with careful observation and testing. Excited that I might finally be on the right track after killing scores of beautiful corals.
  4. "Every one" says Bayer is the ticket for dipping corals. But Bayer has many products. I bought their Rose and Flower Insect Killer. Is this the one to user?
  5. I have a large expensive hybrid ATI, already paid for, for my 120 gallon build. But your lights make me dream of a second system, maybe a frag tank, so I can use your lights!
  6. Duhh, how do I reach the Facebook Neptune group? I am FB illiterate.
  7. Thanks for the lead on Harry Singer! Fantastic event with a gracious host.
  8. I think I have something even better. They are K1 moving bed technology filter media. Bought them for a bio-reactor which I never installed.
  9. I use the Fritz so am interested in you test results.
  10. Crinoid. very common in S Pacific.
  11. Wow, never thought such a thing existed. This could be the perfect solution.
  12. Great news, can hardly wait
  13. Quiet and practically new Briggs and Stratton. About 10 hours use only. Upgrading to larger 220V model. $350. Any interest before I sell it to my electrician? https://www.electricgeneratorsdirect.com/Briggs-&-Stratton-30651-Portable-Generator/p62734.html
  14. The problem with adding a simple extension cord is that you end up with the bulky power brick in the middle of the line. I want the brick to plug into the Apex EB8. Thanks to both Blue Z Reef and Danik for the explanation. And yes, one end of the 24 volt cord is a barrel connector that plugs into the rear of the Kamoer pump.
  15. Since I never took this course, I am hoping someone can help me from screwing up. I want to make the 24 volt, 1.9 amp supply cord from my Kamoer FX-STP pump about five feet longer. Can I simply splice in the added length (using proper soldering technique) or will there by some bad voltage drop or other problem with this modification? What is this little round thing on the power cord in the photo, and what does it do?
  16. Fits 48 by 18 inch tank with a little room to spare. 8 inch height.
  17. I have two, but I can't find them! Lot of good that will do me in a storm.
  18. Beautiful solid wood cover with hinged lid Plenty of space for mounting lights. This should definitely get re-used by one of you guys. What a shame if it goes to the dump. Tell me what you can afford, and good chance that will be the price.
  19. Staying at Las Terrazas Resort on Ambergris Caye. My buddy in hotel business is super connected. We got a deal no one could refuse. Looking forward to diving the reef and also the Blue Hole. Cold beer should also be a highlight. Also a few days in the country's interior. Not so sure there will be much hard coral and especially acros in particular. Looking forward to quizzing Jeff on best sites worldwide for the kinds of corals we are mostly interested in. Years ago I did tons of UW photography with Nikonos and multiple strobes. Nothing automatic and certainly nothing digital. Bulky, heavy, expensive and only one out of ten shots were keepers. ON top of that, the only way to share the photos was a slide show. Now considering jumping back into photography.
  20. Wow, are we here in Oregon lucky to have C&C and you with us.
  21. Wow, who would have thought that GH would house so many reefers and divers. Let me know if you need a tank sitter. Anyone have thoughts on the proper camera set up for Belize diving? Trip planned for May.
