  1. That’s pretty small for an ATO, what size tank is this for?
  2. Very nice, one of my favorite tanks in the club!
  3. Instant Ocean at 1.024. However, I do see the merits in running “hot” salts with the extra alk and ca on nanos where you are not controlling levels with dosing.
  4. Thanks for the bump, I hadn’t seen any of these threads back then.
  5. https://m.ebay.com/itm/MarsAqua-Dimmable-300W-LED-Aquarium-Light-Full-Spectrum-Reef-Coral-Marine-Lamp/261534468394?epid=2143987955&hash=item3ce4ab492a:g:mhkAAOSwxeBZqnYL
  6. USPS parcel select. Probably be like $8. I can PayPal you $20 to cover the hassle of shippping.
  7. I have a 175w setup, can you ship to Albany?
  8. I’ll put 5 on the shipping and buy 5 bags.
  9. Looking good! You guys are inspiring me to start a bigger setup for mine, maybe a UNS cube with a led light and a bubbler.
  10. Maybe your test kit is fubar, maybe something else. I would suggest just firing up the reactor and monitoring alk. The calcium will be there if the reactor is keeping the alk consistent. 30g is kind of small for a reactor, have you considered dosing two part with a doser?
  11. Looking for a quiet return pump, 500-700 gph.
  12. I’ve had this running on my nightstand for a little over a year. It’s an Advanced Acrylics tank with the following parts: IKEA led light modded with 3-up from Steve’s LEDs Sicce Syncra 1.0 pump Hydor 7.5w heater Apex Jr. My three year old feeds it flake food probably twice a week and it’s only had one 100% water change about 4 months ago. Top off with RO/DI. These little simple tanks I think are my favorites. All the stuff that grows on the rocks: pods, mini-brittle stars, tiny red tube worms, ball nems, vermitid snails, sponges, and bubble algae. It all seems to stay in balance somehow.
  13. I’m a civil engineer that specializes in water and wastewater. The bulk of my time is spent engineering water and wastewater treatment plants and distribution/collection systems for <10,000 population cities throughout the state of Oregon. I also do master planning and funding assistance for the same projects that I design.
  14. Looks like Chinese garbage to me. Don’t get me wrong, I love Chinese garbage, just frustrating when it goes fubar in 9 mos.
  15. You ever make it further south, I like the acan but not enough for a 150 mile drive.
