I use a pump. Just stick a decent size pump in the tank with tubing connected and blast away. Pretty mucks takes everything off the rocks and you don’t have to keep continuesly squeezing something.

Tried many. Fritz RPM “Reef Pro Mix” has worked the best for me. The blue box.
