Well the woman's bday is oct. 10th and she would like to join the saltwater hobby. She wants her own tank and for me to show her how to maintain it. I'm not to sure on how much money i'll be able to scrape together so for right now just window shopping. She wants something big.. all women do haha. She likes the 120 of 4x2x2 or one of the longer 150,180,210. Would like to get a stand/canopy with it.. and as many extras as possible. I probably can't afford a whole setup but at least I can get her something to look at until I can afford the lighting/skimmer and what not. So if you have or know of something like this let me know! And she is very picky about scratches so little to none on that.

I think it's cool looking to if you have in check. Or growing on the back wall of the tank

I'm building a car right now so all my extra money is going to that. So coral/fish wise will be whatever I find for cheap lol. Mixed reef for sure though

Well went through a fun cycle.. tank starting to look cleaner now. Got little goby but the tank is way to bare :(. Also need to find a koralia nano

I've always used rodi and have one. But not tank is only 14 gal total. So really like 12. 20 gal would last me a long time lol. On bigger tanks your own rodi is a must

I have an rodi unit. But I just want to keep it simple. No mixing or anything. Swf is next to my work so a couple bucks for a month supply of top off seems good to me. Thanks for the replys i'll use Swf

So my new tank is only 14 gal.. so for now I'm not going to worry about getting a ro/di. Would you rather buy premixed and top off water from SWF or from sea horse? Which one would have over all better quality, and being close to the same each time I buy?

Looking for some live rock for my biocube 14. Like ten lbs of rock that goes together well and a lb or so of rubble size. Looking for close to Gresham area.

Oh nice, def should be able to grow something with these then lol. Today I vinegar'd the coraline and got most of it, still need to wipe down the glass though... also got this media rack that fits into the 2nd chamber. Probably pute a bag of chemipure elite in it or something.. not sure yet

How did the stunner work for you? I herd they were meant for supplementing color and not growth?
