I like that area. I visited there last month. Some people live closer to other areas, so we will not necessary have one location. It is closest to Portland, and would be my choice.

On Sunday, April 17th, 2016 PNWMAS will have an exclusive Behind-The-Scenes Tour of the Hatfield Marine Science Center, and the Oregon Coast Aquarium. PNWMAS is making a Donation to HMSC. Any additional donations at the door are optional We will begin by meeting at : Hatfield Marine Science Center - Visitor Center 2030 SE Marine Science Drive (Located next to the Oregon Coast Aquarium) Newport, Oregon 97365-5296 We suggest arriving at 9:30 AM. The tour will begin at 10:00AM. We will be guided through the Center, and also get a behind-the-scenes look at the operations and educational facilities at HMSC. At 11:00 AM we will proceed to the Aquarium Science Building. (It’s right down the road, and a map will be provided.) Sid is looking forward to working with both the Hatfield Marine Science Center thread, and to the tour! I spoke with him this morning. I am going to post more details here in the HMSC Thread, and in the OCAQ Thread about the upcoming behind-the-scenes-tours. Hi Jeff, welcome to the forum! You should be able to posts after we screen new members, which prevents spam and unwanted posting. By all means, post some pics! I sent you a PM about the forums. As far as selling frags, you must post sales in the Classified Section of the PNWMAS Forum. In the meantime, you may reply by PM (Private Message) to the sellers. If you are a paid "Supporting Member", you may post in the PNWMAS Classifieds, otherwise, regular forum members require 25 previous posts, before they can post in the PNWMAS Classifieds.

PNWMAS has been planning a Behind-The-Scenes-Tour of the Hatfield Marine Science Center. If all goes as planned, we can do this in April, 2016. Please stay tuned for further developments!

A behind-the-scenes-tour Oregon Coast Aquarium has been in the works, and will hopefully take place in April 2016, following a tour of the Hatfield Marine Science Center earlier the same day. Stay tuned for further updates!

Hopefully, we can revive the HMSC Forum, that was started a few years ago! Dennis Glaze(Glazed) was Moderator at that time, and I believe that he has move on to other things. I would like Sid Stetson(IntoTheMystic) to resume Moderation for this forum, if at all possible!
