  14. We decided against providing burgers and hot dogs this year, and going with Ribs. The way our Chef, MrBret, prepared them at our March meeting left no doubts about this...
  15. I would suggest posting some info about the BRS Group Buy, for example, the savings that those participating will get! Many here are new to all this! Some new people may not even know what BRS is. (It is one of our PNWMAS Sponsors, Bulk Reef Supply) www.bulkreefsupply.com/

  18. Thanks again Sid! These tours just keep getting better! :thumbs": Also, be sure to give our thanks Dr. Tim, and the rest of the HMSC Staff for making this possible! I will also make a note of Marine Science Day in April in our Officer/BOD section, to help with event scheduling for the upcoming 2016-2017 term! We should probably start some new posts in the HMSC Thread, which is located in the Discovery and Educational section of the PNWMAS Forum! http://www.pnwmas.org/forum/33-hatfield-marine-science-center/
  19. March 5 2016, Michael Paletta – Bending the rules has been the motto of many of us in the hobby for a long time. I, like many of my fellow hobbyists, think that the rules of the hobby do not apply to us and as a result we often bend them, go right to the edge with them, or break them completely to suit our needs. https://reefbuilders.com/2016/03/05/bending-the-rules-of-reef-aquariums/
  20. Miles, I would like to borrow the PAR Meter after you.
  21. I would also like to be on the list. It may be time for a new LED fixture.
  22. I noticed that there were LED Fixtures are now over the main large tanks that are holding sharks, rays, sturgeon, and rockfish. These were all previously Metal Halide fixtures. A few MH still remain, but the majority of them have been replaced with LED.
