How many XR-30's do you have over this tank, running 86% intensity?

Success is soo sweet, but never forever. I've converted one of my frag tanks into a low flow, no predator tank. Mostly growing algae, mushrooms, and .. a baby Banggai. I've been feeding a lot of freshly hatched brine shrimp to the tank, and guess what? That's rocket fuel to grow aptasia. So today I a new batch of 12 shrimp arrived. They're going to be good friends with those aptasia. Aptasia Death, by peppermint shrimp - round 2.

According to bulk reef supply, tank volume is 88gallons. I was involved in helping Suncrestreef design the stand modifications to fit the bigger than original sump and roller mat. If anyone is even remotely considering this setup, It's worth it! Beautiful setup, with high end extras.

I spotted the prototype of SeaTak at MACNA in September. (post attached) Their website had a link to sign up for a free tube when it became available. My sample arrived today! The product had a good consistency at MACNA, so I'm looking forward to trying it myself. Just finished gluing a few frags last weekend, but will give this a try next time. I'll report back.

What an amazing deal. Whoever buys this, I want to see it once it's setup. Club meeting at your house late in 2023!

You caught me! @reefrun transferred the batch of frags for me to hand out, with one Unnumbered. I didn't know what the next number was, so I chose #99. Its number may be an anomaly, but it's a good looking frag. Enjoy.

You sure know how to hurt a guy... My pods have never really taken off. I'm either starving them, or just not treating them right. Literally this morning I decided I better track the phyto density in the pod jar. Cleaned up the pods, refilled with fresh phyto, turned off the room lights and snapped this picture. Going to see how long it takes to get clear.

I'm putting my energy into my baby cardinal right now.

Nice Looking setup. Although not DIY cheap, I'm enjoying the crispness and ease of the PhytoTanks.

I've kept clownfish for years. Had this pair of black clowns for >5years. Last weekend I noticed their elegance coral wasn't happy, and looked closer. They were tending eggs on the bottom of the tank! This was a first for me, and I'm enjoying it. (no, I'm not going to try and raise clownfish fry) IMG_9405.MOV
