Never had much luck growing much above 6-10" in height with t5, always switched to halide converted sodium's at that point to get stuff moving. I grew hq not hv for many many years, focused on flavor and true high end strains in limited volume, not all these rip off strains that are not really what people call them. Now I grow food for my family when I can.

If it has the veg bulbs I'd probably take it. Would be a good addition to my greenhouse. Although you can't grow [language filter] but start clones with them. I use them for veggie starts and growing lettuce/spinach in the winter.

Can anyone chime in on the UV setting of these lights. Some say low 20% some say high 70+% or does it really matter?

Yeah, not a fan of the white look, or the Windex look either. Too much white seems to wash out the colors. Would adding more lights up the par even at the same settings. Like have 3 hydra 26 on the 250 vs 2 but lower the % of the channels? Seems like over driving the LEDs, especially for the long hours the lights are on, will shorten their life.

Wow. That makes me think my lights are way low. I max my ai primes at 75% on my nano and similar on my girlfriends nuvo 20 with a hydra 26. Wonder if that's why my zoa's don't grow, although my sps seem to grow fine a few inches higher. Would too low a par cause sps bleaching from bottom up? What does your light schedule look like?

Here's our new puppy. 90lbs. Yes, he's still a puppy. Rescued a few weeks ago from horrible owners, he's been through a few homes. Is a handful as he's had no training it seems. Our half acre is not enough for him.

I had horrible customer service with red sea. They don't know what packaging for shipping is. They take forever to get anything from. And they hassle you for a receipt even though you already registered the item which includes a photo or whatever of the receipt. Why register with a receipt if they are going to ask for it every time you contact them, same goes for dealing with AI lights.

If cabinet quality is better on the red sea that must mean the water box cabinet is less than Ikea garbage, cause that's about the quality of the red sea. Either way I'd get a custom cabinet made. One way to upgrade the red sea cabinet is go to Park Rose hardware and buy better cam locks, red sea are thin pot metal junk. I do like the removable weir on red sea vs. the glass on water box. Red sea metric plumbing for US bound tanks is stupid since they are made in China anyway. Just my opinion for owning 2 red sea tanks

How much for the possum wrasse? I want the fruit loops but I can't keep zoa's alive, everything else does great just not zoa's.

Also free is this green leather. About 8" tall. It's real fluffy but got too big so it was banished to a dark corner. I just want a tiny snip of it when it leaves.

Rimless. I've got a red sea and no sloshing issues unless you really go to town like a tweaker. Strength I see the point with euro. With the smaller rimless I'm not worried but when you go bigger I just feel uneasy, long term.

I think it was length. Not sure how that works since mine has grown several new branches and encrusted the plug. Do I have to figure out how to measure all the little branches?
