I will be there. Actually it is within 5 minutes of my house. I am looking forward to seeing what all is there that day.

I would love to see it. Great looking acro!
  6. Not as inexpensive as EMeyer is selling his for however,..... I wish you were closer.
  7. Try Algae Barn. www.algaebarn.com I got a starter pack for my refugium and it was instantaneous.
  8. I included some new pictures of the tank someone else took. You can see my zoa frag between the two scolia in the first shot.
  9. This is my second post. I still have the original four polyps but they are now open and happy. They are sitting on the bottom of my tank and eventually I will try to move them up a bit and see it they do better under more light.
  10. Kim, ....Thanks for all the work you do on these meetings. I especially enjoyed the question/answer on SPS and such. Some interesting information from both. Scott outdid himself at the grill once again,..... great food and the drinks were perfect for a sunny day! Of course we cannot forget to thank Rudy who invited us to his business. My wife and I are looking into a trip to the MACNA convention in Vegas next September after a lucky raffle draw. A great excuse for the trip! Thanks all!
  11. How do I avoid RTN or STN with a new SPS frag that I introducing to my tank? Is it all in the acclimation process?
  12. Powder Brown is not available but the Butterfly is if anyone is interested.
  13. Kim, Can you put me down for a second torch on the group buy? I sent payment just a moment ago. Thanks, Steve
  14. Wow,... good save. I am glad your teenage was able to get it straight again. Great job!
  15. Dustin, Welcome to the forum. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people here that seem to always be willing to help out. Come to the monthly meeting if you can as they are a lot of fun and a good chance to meet people. I believe there are quite a few down in your area for example. The new tank should be a lot of fun to set up. Show us some pictures as you go.
  16. Sounds good. ChevApache58 is also interested in the Powder Brown. Send those pictures.
  17. I have one that I am not using. It was given to me so I would be happy to give it to you.
  18. Anything colorful and bright. I have been starting to do some SPS with some success and have interest in that direction as well as softies if they are bright.
  19. I have a beautiful powder brown tang (about 4 - 4.5 inches) and a Butterfly (about 3 inches) that I would like to sell or trade for corals. The Powder Brown would not get along with a Powder Blue which I like better so it has to go. The Butterfly was picking at some of the corals. I probably was not feeding it enough. I am guessing value roughly at $40 -50. on the tang and $20 - 30. on the butterfly. I would rather trade for The tang is currently in an isolation tank and the butterfly is in the sump. They would not cooperate for pictures but look like the examples commonly seen on Google images. Anyone interested?
  20. I wanted to post that my frag with four polyps finally all opened up yesterday for the first time. I ended up putting them on the bottom of the tank and they seem like they finally may be happy there. Perhaps the mid level was too much light/flow?? I know others have had trouble getting all to open up as well. I am pleased that this seemed to help them. Give it a try if you still have unopened polyps.
