    I have some frogspawn or hammer (either one) that I would trade you. The frogspawn is the branching variety (green and purple) and the hammer is fluorescent green and purple. Both are pretty good sized pieces. I am in Vancouver and on spring break next week. Let me know if interested.

    Golden Basket is local (Tigard) and if you drop by his business he has an incredible amount of coral types for sale. You can see them all first hand before buying and he is a very helpful seller. He showed me things I liked that I did not realize was there simply by describing what I was looking for. I highly recommend a local person stopping by his shop. I will be back many times in the future. He has very limited hours of operation so make sure you contact him first.

    Mitch, I love the purple tangs - they are beautiful fish. I hope you can keep it for quite a while and enjoy it as it grows. If it starts bullying the other fish you will know when it is time to find a new home for it.

    Sorry to hear about the ich outbreak. I have also taken the chance when I think the source of a new fish is reliable and put them into my main tank, but as most people you finally get burned and then set up the quarantine tank. I now have my quarantine up all the time and keep a few small fish in on a regular basis to keep it live. If need be they can move to the main tank if necessary. Good luck on the shark,..... you might leave it and see if it comes down with the ich. Feed it good and sometimes that seems to get a fish past the problem.

    I borrowed a fish trap from Jeff at Cuttles and it worked great for me. Less than 3 minutes after the trap went into the tank the fish was caught. I had been trying for four weeks prior with a net By the way,..... any pictures of the fish you want to sell?

    Check out the photo on the pacificeast aqua 30% sale. It looks like that one color wise but is quite a bit larger.
