Wow, what a huge task ordering, fragging, transporting, communicating for the growout. A tremendous amount of work. The growouts are allot of fun, thanks for bringing the fun to the group.

I have often wondered the same. That is pretty extreme rocking. I switched mine to more flow, less wave, but still a little wave. It was unnerving to me also. Looks cool though thanks for the vid.

Well, we made it down to Critter Cabana in Wilsonville before the meeting on the hunt for a tomato frog. Unfortunately I had read the hours for Saturday, not Sunday. The place was not due to open until noon! Fortunately they had a tour going on for the girl scouts to earn badges (cool!). I snuck in with that group. Second fortunate coincidence, Matt was there bagging coral for the meeting. You know, the coral they gave away for the raffle (cool!). Even though he was scrambling to get ready, he took care of the frog before the store was open. Well I can say the place is a pet paradise. Oodles of puppies, reptiles and amphibians, a big Macaw. In fact these two guys were freely roam around on the store! The bonus is, it is a place you could bring the family and keep them distracted while you browse the coral. Speaking of coral, I was blown away by the selection. The frag tanks are floor to ceiling and very big, and very full of frags and colonies. This is about half the frag tanks I think... They keep an impressive inventory as well: PIC HERE Huge thanks to Critter Cabana for hooking my daughter up with a nice frog and getting us to the meeting on time!

Hey good to hear you have DCT experience, I am hoping the DCTs are a rock. It was unnerving to lose a DC, but it happens I suppose to all pumps now and then. At least for the cost a guy can keep a spare on hand...

I am surprised how big this sucker is. This is the 12,000 and the 15,000 together. The power supply is 6a instead of 5, but feels pretty light. Hope it can handle the load! The pump itself is very heavy, the 12000 is a feather weight compared to it. Looks like 2" plumbing compared to 1.5" Hoped to hook it up tomorrow and give it a spin, but tomorrow's meeting will keep me out of the tank for most of the day

Hi Paratore, A good way to approach it is to make a for sale or trade thread, and specify pickup at the meeting. There could be people interested in your frags, the for sale/trade thread is a good way to find out. I don't think (could be wrong) this is one of those frag swaps where people setup tanks and booths etc...

Anyone available to pickup from J-Dog before the meeting and bring the coral? If so, would you be willing to pick up mine? Thanks!

My daughter has done the research and we are now interested in getting a tomato frog. Is there any place near the meeting Sunday that sells them or has them in stock that you know of? Recommend places to check? Thanks!!
