  1. I'm pretty sure Philip rivers is the biggest cry baby qb, followed by Jay Cutler with cam newton and brady close behind.
  2. I've been camping 5 times in Mt. Hood National forest so far this year and haven't heard of a single burn ban. Just make sure you don't throw the hot dog at the bun at the last second. Someone else might pic it off. :P Go Broncos!
  3. Looking good! Sorry to hear about Rodrigo. :( I can't name my fish or they die within 48 hours. Its bad luck in my tank! I thought it was a zoa tank but now I see all sorts of stuff in there. If there is anything I can contribute please let me know.
  4. Sick stuff. If I had any room Id get some of this hotness
  5. Nope, that's a pic of my tank Isaac. Thanks Theclark! Lemme know when your ready for some pretties. I get Super low alk Sometimes, and big temp swings. For me, my tank does best when I leave it the *}#{k alone and just do wc maintenance. Seems like I do more harm than good. One could say my success is inversely related to my involvement. I swear anybody could grow an SPS colony if they use kent salt, put an LED over it and walk away. But I'm a bit deep in the cups and hijacking a thread, my apologies fishmanmike!
  6. My sps tank swings 77-82 and everything is perfectly happy. LPS, especially euphillia get pissed at 82, but otherwise I see no changes. I'm more of a "let it swing" school though. That way when something fails, and it will, your corals are tough!
  7. Dang dood, that sucks. If you feel like stopping by, I can cut you anything you want. It can't be like 8am this time though!
  8. Yikes! We've all done one bonehead thing at least once (if your lucky) during this hobby. Sounds like you had a pretty swift and solid recovery. Well done.
  9. GLWS. Great pic too. Low inventory so you should do well, but as you mention the buying is the hard part. I bought my first home two years ago and man it was tough. got beat on our first offer for another place. Second place we got countered for $2K more and accepted. We weren't the highest bidder even after the counter offer but our realtor had us write a letter about ourselves and why we thought the house would be a good fit for us. Seemed ridiculous at the time, but the seller had attended law school at the college I attended and she picked us! Go CU Buffs!! It all happened super fast too, we put in offer in from the back yard of the showing. We were preapproved and everything went smoothly. Contingencies may be an obstacle for you. All depends on where you are looking too. Regardless, good luck on both sides!
  10. I stopped by and hung out with Woody the other day as well. Good guy he is for sure. I'm hoping when his daughter gets in town, he can be back up and in good business form again.
  11. I've got the 120 and its pretty useless too. It works great if the water level in my sump is the same all the time 8", but of course its not. Sounds like your done with it but you should be able to get better results out of them. Not total junk IMO.
  12. These guys get a bad rap! They can be thuggish ruggish, but I always take the smallest ones I can get and haven't had too many issues with them. they remind me of little green army men from the movie toy story. I love it when they are high up on rocks and I feed the tank they "parachute off", sink to the bottom, right themselves and then start scavenging.
  13. I feed the tank to get the locals fat and happy. Then introduce the new ones. Lights off, next day feed as normal. That butterfly may be finicky to get eating
  14. I had a copperbanded and for a week and that little bastard would nip my clams. It got to the point where I had to put a Tupperware over my clams to protect them. Clams stayed, fish went. My guess is it's the butterfly. Alternatively it may be too much direct flow?
  15. awesome! not a huge nba fan, but a huge fan of kids having fun
  16. Can't say I ever noticed it being more porous than anything else. I did notice it was very fragile, so that may support the porous properties. Lemme know if you ever frag that rainbow tort, beautiful piece!
  17. My purple nana looks like: Where as the similar piece I was referring to looked like: Crazy, weed like growth like I've never seen in an acro.
  18. Def not a purple nana imo based on growth pattern and the fact I have a huge purple nana colony, but I think Kim may be right with the west side rainbow id. Any idea who you got it from?
  19. Looks exactly like the purple acro I fragged and sold. Looks like it grows the same sporadic wild way too. I think I had got mine from Danik, Sorry I can't offer a name though. Never thought I'd sell a coral because it got so big but alas it had to go. No clue on the other cool looking monti looking bit.
  20. I don't even know what kind of coral that is. If you are still struggling with salinity, I would slow down. At this point calcium is not as important as your salinity, your Alkalinity, nitrates, ammonia. And most importantly stability. I've had corals thrive outside of normal parameters for a very long time, but since it was a stable environment they were okay. I'd be willing to bet you still have a lot of fluctuations going on.
