  1. I guess I'm glad my clump died off. Wish I new why, then I could have everyone call me "The Master" or something like that.
  2. And where can we get this wonder product?
  3. I will take it off your hands. I was kinda looking for something to put next to my computer screen. Sending PM
  4. Do they make a under water Dremel? Has anyone ever used one of them cable extinctions and just used it under water?
  5. I think it's too thick, it's about 1/4" and cupped.
  6. Very nice. I wish my over flow box way like that. One the hanging fixture, are the things between the chain and cable a tension pulley of some sort? So you can lift the hood and it will stay.

    Fragging help

I need to chop the side of my Spongodes. I have lost a couple branches of my light blue tip stag to him. The problem is, I think if I put to much pressure on it that the whole thing will come off the rock. So I am looking for ways of cutting it in the tank as the rock is to big. [/img]
  8. Shrooms will grow almost anywhere. If they don't have something solid for there foot to hold onto then they blow around and find there own. (Your main rocks)
  9. If you fell like trying it your self, you can get some "Shark bite fitting". just cut the pipe clean a little and push them on. You need to make sure you can move the pipe back and forth though.
  10. If the shroom is stuck to something on the frag plug, then you can pry it off and glue it to a smaller rock. Then you can keep that rock at the bottom and move it so the shrooms don't get on your main rocks. Less you want them there.
  11. Cool day indeed. At least four corals and skimmer, nice

    Plumbing Help

Mikes reterns might be all loc line. Guess you could still just drill one of the knukles and point it down.
  13. OK got the little bugger out safe and sound. I had to make a long spoon thing out of a fiberglass arrow shaft and cottage cheese lid. Drained the water as much as I could (to a 1/4") and went for it. After chasing and scooping for about 10 min of total stress and having him to the top about 4 or 5 times. I think I took more stress then he did as we was out and about the same old way in about 30 min. The spoon [/img] The unreachable overflow box [/img]
  14. That does work. But I don't think he will take the bait as I have to turn the main pump off to see down there. Then he/she would know I was up to something.
  15. Kinda like that but it allmost 22" down to the bottom. Thinking of draining as much water as I can from the box and making a long spoon thing and push him into the little net that I can get in there. Just can't move they net once it down there. I guess if I had to I could just take the outgoing bulkhead and push him through there. That dosent sound fun though. Back to work I go.
  16. Well I noticed my Hippo was around. I had to tear his bed out "volley ball size Hydno as it was too big". So started doing the big search for him and found him in my over flow box. So thats my job for the day. Looking for some idea as them Hippos are super wedges. Been trying to poke at him and scare him into the net with no success.
  17. Great coral. The only bummer is that they should be feed every night or every other night. If you do they will grow realy good.
  18. Where did the rock come from? Was it dried or base rock? Was it man made stuff? It looks to me as it was base rock and it is starting to get some kinda algae showing up. As for it being good or bad, you may have to wait till it get bigger to identify it.
  19. Haven't made it to a shop yet, but was thinking if the aluminum reflectors get re chromed if that will slow the heat transfer down?
  20. Use the gel stuff as its alot easer. You can do it right over the tank if you want. If you can pull the plug and the coral out, then dry the two spots off some and put the glue on and dip it back in the water. The glue starts to skim over as it comes in contact with the water.
  21. Sorry no nudes of me. But people have been getting to stressed lately. So who want to admit to being in the Nude Reefing Club? Have you ever got up in the morning and got your coffee. Then walked over to admire the tank to find that a coral has fallen on top or touching another coral. So as to not get your robe wet, off it goes on the spot to rescue the coral. So who will join with me on this grand adventure?
  22. Has anyone tried to take your old nasty reflectors and have them re-chromed or chromed as there not really chromed. I going to try and have a chrome shop look at them in a couple day to see what it would cost. I pretty sure chrome has copper in the making of it and if it got in the water it would bad news. But my fixture has the water shield that would keep it from ever getting in there. Cheaper yet would be to buy some chrome spray in a rattle can and see how that turns out. Anyways what your thoughts on the re-chroming?
  23. The blue shroom rock is now property of TFT as offered by cschwarz. Grats TFT
