I kinda have to agree with Steve on most his points. Do I do them? for the most part no. I do try but it does take more time and money. Things that bug me. Seeing frag plugs Seeing globs of epoxy and yes to much stuff on the sand bed.

I try not to feed Cheeto to my fish if I can help it. Cheeto is hard for them to digest the outside of the plant and gives my fish long stringy poo. It seem to play havoc with there intestine as well as they have a hard time bitting off small chunks.

Isn't there something like fin rot? Or is that a fresh water thing?

I to still use Hydrometers, but there cheep so you should always use two when your checking your water. O and alway rinse them out with Ro water so you don't have crap drying on the arm and messing them up.

A 120 is a pretty standard size and I am sure there out there. If you are after something custom like color, wood or nifty stuff on the out side or inside then your looking for someone to make one for you. Going that way will cost you a lot more then finding one most likely. I made a hood and 3 sided cover for Stylester/Roy's stand and that cost him about 600 bucks. A cabinet shop will push you up to about 1k depending on what you want. Start looking in your area for home finish carpenters and start talking to some. There is a lot of construction people out of work at the moment and you might be able get something done cheep.

I had that bubble coral that was in bad shape when I got it and it started to do the same thing. The main coral died and I took the little floaters and put them into something like a cage to keep them from blowing around. But the main thing is to try and find why it did that.

I would have to say dead snails as well. I got a bag of 50 snails once and they where all dead. I had to poor them out into a bowl to take a pic for my refund. The smell was in the house after I dumped em out and the wife went nuts. That has got to be one of the worst dead smells.

I guess I was one that got one of the big chunks from Perry as well. Mine doesn't have much green on polyp ends yet, but seem to turning. The cool thing about them is the bright blue color when there closed up. Wish I could make them stay that way. I will try and get a pic tomorrow.

If the corals have been doing well under them, then I would think it would be fine. Yous still might try and get some better lights then the T8s. Start looking for some Compact fluorescents or T5 fixtures.

I see frag city. Better not get any scraches on the stand or hood.

Nice, Grats for both of you. Now the bummer is your going to have less time for playing with the tanks. Thats one of the bummers, I get home burned out from work and then remember I have to do something with the tanks. O and do you mean rocks like Charley Brown rocks or rocks like clear sparkle ones. O and what field is it?

Couple things to try. If you can find a length of tubing that will fit down the hole you made in the cap. Then slide it up and down till you get the best results. As far as the pump noise. Try and lift the PVC and have the pump hang off bottom and see if that will quiet it down. It looks like the riser coming from the pump might be a little long to do that ATM as it will put stress at the 90 and bulkhead spot. You look like you did a good job with ever thing. Sometimes it just takes some fine tunning. Mine sure did.

Man I thought you where kidding about that in the other thread. 20 foot maples? them get petty darn big. I don't remember you guys having that much room around the house. I guess I never did see your back yard. How big are the root balls? and how close are they to where they need to be planted. I will know in a couple days if I am free.
