  1. Mild shocks don't bother me to much. I have gotten use to it using a skill saw out side standing in puddles of water.
  2. Man Brad, isn't all that a little extreme for a little setup? But I guess if I had most that stuff setting around I would be doing the same.
  3. Make it simple. Put your cut finger back in there so you fill the tingle. Then have someone start unplugging items one by one till it stops. A little shock therapy never never hurt any-anyone "twitch twitch"

Right back where you got them from is best I have found. Maybe a little more flow at first to let the slim blow away.
  5. Yea this is best done with a couple friend. You should know them well and there tanks. The fun part about this is you might start shearing stuff so much, till you friends pops up and tells you he has crabs. haha . Well you get the point.
  6. You might just try taking some of the warm salt water and mix it in that. It always seem to dissolve in that real well.
  7. See, Miles is wanting you to use all that math stuff too. Try doing it and start checking with your test kit to make sure your not going up to fast. Thanks again Miles
  8. The things people do with money always seem to amaze me.
  9. Hey Josh, best to look it up and make sure. It some place in RC chemistry thread, I think it was some thing like this. Bake it on a cookie sheet at 350 for at least a 30 min. For every Tbs it will raise the Alk 1 point of 50 gal. If you use unbaked baking soda it will also raise the PH. I am not sure why this isn't used in a reactor just like Kalk. If we keep talking about it and show how dumb we are then someone smart will chime in.
  10. So my calcium reactor was putting out to much CO2 and was giving my sps's problems. So I turned it almost off now and have been using baked baking soda to keep my Alk up. All my corals are looking great and growing now. Anyone use this for a long amount of time with any ill effects?
  11. Yea, Electrokate did, hope she post some.
  12. O something like 3 bucks a bulb or 2 for 5. Will cost you more to come get it. I just have to put something back into the Church basket to make myself feel good. O and I wasent the one who ordered the things. But sure do think they will work good for sumps though. If you want to breing a frag of something thats fine as well.
  13. Well this is what I have. There 21 1/2" long
  14. let me look at the supply room of my church Bob, I think someone ordered a full box of them and we can't use them. Will look tomorrow.
  15. Randy, I will take the ORA Hawkins. I will PM you some trades, if not I will pay at the meeting.
  16. Welcome back, and it will be glad to meet you.
  17. Nice work Brandon. I think I even see a little green bubble coral that looks familiar. We still have to see the messy stuff, lights , sump and stuff like that.
  18. I don't have any "yet" but I would think if you had them pointed at each other from the ends of the tank, that it would give you some good chaotic flow.
  19. Could be, if it is worms it might be good to do a dip on them.
  20. You better get going as she is going to blow you away. A little green clown goby is a nice little fish if you have smaller fish in the tank, as they can be kinda shy. Mine is in my little 20gal. frag tank with a little Cinnamon clown and a little blue tank.
  21. I didn't vote as I think we should change the days back and forth. That way everyone has a chance to make some.
  22. I should be there, but not sure I will like seeing the Cowboy stuff.
  23. When you done looking at all of Perrys wild shrooms. Let me know if this look like anything you might like. I am just down the road from him. [/img]
  24. Someone give me back my ten years of Ever Quest playing so I can go back to my VGA Planets. Maybe I should just dig the old Commodore 64 out and go back to that, then my life will be complete.
  25. We made the bottom just a 3 sided skirt so it just slid right over the stand that he already had. I am just glad I got my easement right.
