  1. Good idea, there should definitely be a reference to clarify what your insurance will and will not cover. I know I had to have my tank written into our policy because it wasn't coverd and neither was any damages caused by it. The figure I've always heard was 80k as a starting point with a tank failure.
  2. *EDITED FOR SOLD AND PENDING PIECES* It was a wild colony.
  3. I don't but the mother colony looks just like the frag, that piece was an unintentional fraging... IMO it looks better than my Oregon Tort. I'll put you second in line.
  4. Ultra Tort and Garf Bonsai *PENDING*
  5. WYSIWYG! Prices are firms unless you want to buy 5+ pieces. Aussie Super Blue Tenius (not blue tipped, stays solid blue!) $30 Unknown Wild Aussie $30 Blueberry Mille $35 Lavender Smoothie Table $35 Pacwest LSD $30 ATL Shades of Fall $40 Aussie Deepwater Unknown $35
  6. I know someone who might be interested in this... Who built the tank?
  7. Looking good buddy! That old bulb technology still kickin out great color and killer growth!
  8. With that much coral and a clam you're going to need to start either dosing 2 part or pick up a calcium reactor... You might be able to pick up kalk reactor and increase your kalk but I'd just go with a two part system or a calcium reactor with quality media. Like everybody else said go slow but you need to get that alk on the rise soon or your going to start losing corals. The red sea test kits are actually great, just remove the silly little tips and just drip directly from the syringe and swirl between every drop it'll give you a plenty close measurement to know where you need to be. Don't stress too much on chasing numbers, you'll drive yourself crazy... just get your tank up to a balanced level of alk and calcium in an acceptable range and let your corals tell you what they like and keep that mag up above 1300. I prefer Kent salt as well because of the higher mag, I never have to dose mag in either of my systems.
  9. I can get you hooked up with a variety of cheap starter acros and a couple monti's but you'll have to make the trip to Portland, there's definitely some stuff I need to clean out of my frag tank. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.
  10. It should have a sticker on it, an easy way to tell is if it's virtually silent when it runs.
  11. What motor is on the dart? I might be interested.
  12. I think I might have one or two decent ones (whistle)... not much I'm fragging at the moment though.
  13. More than likely the powder would of killed it anyways... Powder Blues are definitely better left as one of your last fish additions, once settled they're usually pretty aggressive towards any new tank mate.
  14. Cool I'll take it and the big piece with two branches... we can definitely do your place or you can swing by and pick out some pieces from one of my tanks or I can always just surprise you...
  15. Bill is that OG bali green slimer? I'll take piece #1
  16. If you can't get him by phone let me know, I'll get you in touch with him. His tanks are spendy but you get what you pay for. Flawless seams and a tank that has a real guarantee behind it even though you'll never need to use it. It's an investment like anything else but if you look at it as a permanent fixture in your home it's hard to put a number on a quality tank that'll last a lifetime.
  17. http://www.envisionacrylics.com/ This is all you need. He's now moved from Beaverton out to Dundee but his work is still some of the best in the country when it comes to acrylic and he's the only person besides myself I'd trust to build a large acrylic tank.
  18. I have one of these little 100gpd guys and it works great, make sure you add the DI to it though!
  19. And... Fish don't school in aquariums! They will shoal which looks similar but they don't school.
  20. Mcmaster.com will have them for sure, a good local option would be Winks hardware.
  21. Where did you pick it up from? I've lost my source for dow flake and need to find a new one.
