  1. Sounds like you have had a crazy week Shawn. Glad to see Curtis and Miles came through with some stuff to help you out. I hope everything bounces back OK. Good luck!
  2. Unfortunately Dennis, it does. Even worse, I had the same thought! Pretty sad really...
  3. Way to go Joel (rock2) I see a marketing deal in the making... Mountain Dew, the ultimate worm chaser!!! Do it Joel!
  4. Nice pics (as always) Andy. I love that favia and chalice! If you ever have the time and inclination, I would be happy to ply you with some microbrews or something to get your photo tips. I unfortunately couldn't make the club meeting where you presented... Keep on posting! Sean
  5. Looking real sharp Shawn! You have quite the chalice collection going there as well. Nice work!
  6. Hey Mike - sorry to hear you will be leaving us! Good luck with the move and whatever life may hold in Boise. Sean
  7. Beautiful bird! Sorry to hear you have to part with him/her. I would love to bring them home but just can't take on another pet these days. Best of luck finding a new home for Bubba.
  8. Jay - I have a hammer with that color scheme if you want some of it. I would need some help fragging though so not as convenient!
  9. Hey congrats Bob! The question is... are you still married after having to deliver CA2OR his zoa-rock on your anniversary??? Hope you had a good one!
  10. Very cool Shawn. Good luck with the pair - I have always loved the dragonets. We used to have one that would always swim up to the glass and follow us around the room just out of curiosity (she didn't eat frozen food). BTW - I often see the spotteds at Soutas' if you decide to get some more to enhance your new breeding program
  11. That cap is really sweet! Nice looking tanks BTW... amazing how much you managed to get in there and have it all look happy.
  12. Is that color pretty accurate - more yellow than green? What lighting is it under currently? Great looking coral and tank!! Thanks - Sean
  13. Hey Beckie, I went through the same sort of argument with myself, bought something with less than optimal lighting then got frustrated with all the cool stuff I saw that I couldn't have (including SPS and clams) so finally scrapped the whole thing and bought another system. So... I would definately lean toward "overkill" if I were you so you don't regret it later! That is, of course, if you can talk your SO into it I currently run 2X400 MH plus VHO actinic supplementation on a 48x24x24 tank. Good luck!
  14. Nice score Mike! I hope you get him transplanted safely... I'm sure he will look great in your tank.
  15. So if the rest of these guys somehow knock each other off I would be very interested
  16. Andy, it's worth monitoring this board on a daily basis just for your commentary! You always give me a good laugh... which is sorely needed these days to go along with the boot leather soup
  17. Yeah - that pagoda looks really sweet. Wish I had room for it (sad)
  18. Wow... awesome collection. Hope I can make it!
  19. Thanks - will do. Sorry about the name, I think I confused your moniker with Tidalsculpin - edited out. Sean
  20. No takers on this yet? Have you been able to get any additional info on the builder or composition of the tank? I am guessing not but thought I would check. Also, is it somewhere that it can be checked out? I know it's not yours but wasn't sure if the owner was back or had OK'd access. Thanks - Sean
  21. Wow... tough guy! Glad he pulled through for you.
  22. Hey Andy - that sounds like a very interesting and unique idea! Definitely worth considering if the sponsors bought into it.
