  1. Wow... that really is awful Curtis, so sorry to hear. I had actually been wondering how things went DOH! Good luck getting things back together man!
  2. Great info Jon and Blaine. This makes me wonder if we have a way to "flag" certain posts that have really good reference material like this so that we could begin to compile a more easily searchable "database" of some sort. I see things like this pop up and then can never find them again when I actually need them!
  3. Beautiful corals Jake! I hope you got some good trade offers on those. I would love to have a piece of the Jedi mind trick monti some day so keep me in mind if you ever have more of it. Really nice stuff (drooler)
  4. Yeah - that had to hurt to see those pics (sad) Hopefully it will all turn out good... have faith in Dr. Dennis!
  5. PM sent a while ago on a couple items. Sorry to hear you are having to break down the tank! Sean
  6. Veeeery nice (drooler) What are those last three Jody?
  7. Cool piece. Glad you found someone who can babysit it Mark. Let me know if you guys accidently snap off a piece of that pink cap while you are moving it around (naughty)
  8. Let us know how that goes My guess is you will discover a differnt form of melting DOH!
  9. Thanks for sharing Dennis! I am really interested to see how this turns out. I was also wondering how they managed to "eat" while they grew a new mouth - didn't realize they had enough photosythetic capacity to keep them going that long. I would love to see some of those crazy color morphs that Perry had propagated - Go Dennis!!! (rock2)
  10. Wow! Nice Isaac... I haven't even gotten caught up to the old black yet though (scratch) Are those really the periwinkle blue color they look to be in the photo? I have never actually seen that color in a zoa before (but I am a zoa-newbie so that might not mean much).
  11. Ouch... sorry to hear that Josh, that was a nice nem. Does seem kind of drastic, when I have had them go, it has usually been a slow retraction/decline, nothing so precipitous. Might want to through some fresh carbon in there if you got some to help with the toxic soup it probably left behind on it's way out... amazing what a mess they can make. Hope you figure it out.
  12. Isaac, I think you may have given everyone a serious case of chalice inadequacy with your pics... I mean c'mon, some of those things look like they can't even be real the colors are so intense! That magenta one a couple pages back is simply unbelievable (drooler)
  13. Let me know when the water is boiling... I can bring my mystery crab!
  14. I like the way you think Mark... now, if only insurance would cover it (plotting)
  15. Congrats Jay! He is a big sucker (scary)
  16. Too bad you can't bait the trap with snails... if he started thumping them in there he might actually trip the thing!
  17. Actually, I would love if it were at Silver Falls... a beautiful park and a really nice drive from Portland if you go out 213 and through Silverton. I realize, however that this may not be all that convenient for everyone. Thanks to all those who are putting work into finding locations for us! I am down as a maybe since we might have a show that day which would prevent me from attending - not due to the location.
  18. Hi John, I will make sure to keep you in mind in case I hear of anything... not my area directly but sometimes things pop up unexpectedly. Good luck in the search and pass along my best wishes to Constance. I hope she recovers quickly. Sean
  19. Ouch DOH! I hate to be outdone by invertebrates! At least he might be so full he will leave your snails alone for a while. Good luck Jay - it took me a while to capture my mystery crab as well but oh so sweet when you finally succeed (rock2)
  20. They certainly looked pretty darn happy at the store! They are opening up now following the indignation of fragging, transport and glueing so we shall see! I will chalk up any mishaps to my poor stewardship but I am hopeful I would hate to see them suffer from my mishandling. They are attached to some rubble in their own little container so I can easily move/remove them if necessary... I didn't trust leaving them to their own devices in the 120! Thanks again Perry!
  21. Nice Mark. That is the perfect piece of rock for that tank! Can't wait to see it covered with coral now
  22. Well... I picked out some of the deep water zoas for the April raffle (woot!) and also brought home a small yellow torch. All the other stuff I wanted would't fit in the tank! There was a beautiiful blue tipped elegance and a really nice orange hammer I was lusting over (drooler)
  23. Hmmm... maybe I should get a hold of some of these. If they have a appetite for bristle worms they can't be all bad
