  1. Nice looking setup Troy - that stand/canopy remind me of the display at Upscales.
  2. I wanted to give a some major kudos to Ben (Reef-fisher) for the deal he gave me on some gear. Not only was he really patient trying to hook up but ended up delivering the goods as well. Really... went way out of his way to make this work out. Thanks Ben (rock2)
  3. At it again eh Miles? I have decided that the only real solution is that you need to move your tanks up to PDX so I can more easilty take advantage of all your awesome coral sales
  4. Hey Isaac - sorry to hear your tenure at SeaHorse is at an end... you were a great asset to that store. Best of luck in whatever your next endevour is. If you did manage to get a hold of Waves that would be awesome - other than the fact that it's on the "wrong" side of town Best of luck man and thanks for your help! BTW - Andy, as per usual, I like the way you think!
  5. Hey Jeff, I am very sorry to hear things did not work out for you on this deal. As you may remember, I picked up a couple tickets hoping to help out a fellow reefer and get a shot at a nice setup to boot... This had the potential to really be a win for everyone and it's a shame to hear that it all fell apart. I hope things start looking up for you soon! Take care and best of luck. Sean
  6. Love the layout Curtis! Having that extra depth really increases the options for having a more realistic aquascape. Can't wait to see pics of this "in the flesh" so to speak.
  7. Whoa... close call Mark! Glad to see the grills survived even if the deck got hit. It was pretty windy at work but so far I haven't seen any damage at home. Of course, I am afraid to actually look in the back yard  We did have some power bumps so Darcy turned off the halides so they wouldn't constantly be trying to re-fire. Good to have a knowledgable spouse looking out for the tank
  8. Wow... Dennis, I am very sorry to hear about your loss. My pets have always been a part of the family and losing one is always very rough. I hope you all get through this OK. Sean
  9. That is a beautiful animal! I am so sorry to hear that you have to part with her. I wish I had somewhere to keep her myself but, alas, not the case. Thanks for sharing the pictures they are utterly adorable! Good luck. Sean
  10. Agree - some sort of counter on menu bar or something to indicate "occupancy" would be fantastic. Not sure if Rob has had a chance to look into this or not but it would really make a huge difference in useage I think. Just stopped in again and no one home...
  11. Nice score Calvin - that is a beautiful piece and looks great in your tank. I didn't realize how big that was until I saw the FTS! The tank, by the way, is looking fantastic - really nice work (rock2)
  12. Glad to see the Tort is off the table... it's been taunting me (drooler)
  13. Wow! Really nice collection. I can't believe someone (with the room) hasn't snagged this yet (scratch)
  14. Good to hear Miles... that had the potential to be a really bad day! Nothing like a tank disaster (or potential one) to get the blood pressure ramped up  Hope things are still working right. I will have to try and remember all the excellent drying suggestions on this thread for the next time some of my equipment takes a dive.
  15. Hey that is great news Curtis! I hope they all continue to bounce back and maybe even more of them start to show signs of life again. (clap)
  16. Dang Miles... that was a bad one  Sorry to hear about all the damage. Funny, I was thinking about going after the pest anemonies today myself but ended up working on the wife's car instead - found a split CV boot and a couple of tires with the tread ready to come off so I guess it's a good thing I didn't work on the tank afterall! Hope you get it all working again soon. I'm sure a couple of cold ones will help the process along
  17. Very cool Perry! Unfortunately, you missed the shot where it belches DOH!
  18. Cool! I would love to see one of those little guys "in the flesh" (clap) Very interesting looking and I like how their fin motion is coordinated.
  19. Very cool Mark. I love how the polyps are recessed more than on the caps. I hope it gets that nice purple edge to it.
  20. Hey Curtis, looking real solid - I don't think you will have anything to worry about with that. Nice location too, even if you don't get a veiw of all three sides. Glad that double cube stand idea worked out for you... that is pretty much exactly what I was thinking. Nice looking house/apt. as well! Good luck man... hope the survivors are doing well!
  21. It is pretty amazing to see how divergent people's experiences are with these providers... makes one wonder what the deciding factor is - location? PS - how could you not like those pants!!!
