Thanks for the feedback reefnjunkie. It is interesting to hear that you didn't like. Did you run 1 or 2 on your tank? My prospective tank would be 60 X 36. I was just about set on the MP60's until your post. Now I'm not exactly sure.

I am thinking about setting up a tank and trying to figure out if I would want MP40's or MP60. Noise is a major consideration for the wife. I had MP40's on a tank a few years ago and the noise was bearable but noticeable. MP60's would be more water movement than I could use but was thinking of running them at low power to try to quiet them down. If anybody is using them and would be willing to let me observe their tank I would be greatly appreciative. Or share experience would be great to.

Sold. Thank you for the interest. I emptied my tank this weekend but I have a few remaining bits of livestock. My tank is down so the water is cold and the oxygen level is too low to keep these alive anymore. $20 for what is left for anybody that can come pick them up today.
