  1. Any acrylic will bend/warp if expose to water or the humidity trapped by the acrylic itself. Over flow covers will warp even if using material up to and including 3/4", and some cases 1". The trick is to make the opening larger on the screen than the hole for the tank. Just gotta make sure no piece of acrylic extends over an opening of the tank, then no warp.

  4. Uni-seals are better for thicker applications. For those Brute trash cans, a std BH is better GL

Currently in a 29 gal, (23x22.5x12) DIY acrylic cube frag tank, DIY LEDS on 2 timers for white and blue/royal blue, that is hooked up to the 225gal DIY Display Tank (60x36x24) and serviced by an 80gal (48x24x16) DIY custom sump. Controlled by Apex, dual 250w ebo's, ATO, DIY skimmer with 10k bubble blaster, DIY calcium reactor with a modified industrial regulator and DIY Bio-pellet reactor, running UV.

  11. Ours just sits on the bottom of our dirty tank under LEDS for the past year or so. It's about 41/2" across from a small 2"
