This is the old 80gal with foam rock back wall and the rocks in front "foamed" together side view of the back wall Before the water, the three rocks out front have been foamed together, you can see some of the bulge of the expanding foam. Worked great, very close to permanent still have those rocks attached and using them in my current 225gal for a nem island Unfortunately you have to cover the foam with epoxy and then sand to keep the UV from degrading the foam, an extra step but worth it you can make just about anything with the foam - if you don't like the way it turned out, rip it apart and do it over again. Just like everything there is more than one way in this hobby my $ .02 pre inflation

  19. I have one left, it's a M8 Matheson dual stage regulator, this is what it looks like It's not ready , just waiting for a solenoid to come in hopefully in a week or so. All new seals, springs, diaphragms and gauges - will be plug and play. Will come with a solenoid and a needle valve, just need your CO2 tank and reactor and you'll be off to the races Another shot - from the front. It'll look almost like this M8 Matheson that I sold The price for this one is $285 and the best part of owning this beside not worrying about adjust the adjustment going out is that you will realize what you paid when you sell it.
  20. Thanks for the links, I like the way the rock looks after the acid bath, more open and porous. I'm sure my rock is showing "old tank syndrome" this time after the peroxide and bleach I'll use the acid soak as well
  21. I'm bare bottom at the moment. For cooking the LR, I will be taking a couple pcs out and soaking in 50/50 peroxide to water or acid to water - that's the idea Jorge I do run UV but that's not helping
